Pool Float Inflator Life Hack

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

First things first, After exporting this the audio during the opening went out of sync. I don't know why. I've gone back into my editor half a dozen times and it's fine in the native file. If the beginning is still out of sync when it's uploaded, I humbly apologize. I don't know why it's doing that. All I can say is, bare with it. it self corrects about 30 seconds in.
Now that I've gotten that out of the way- in this video I inflate a pool float with a battery powered air mattress inflator. The nozzle on the inflator is too big for the nozzle on the pool float so I cannibalize a ball point pen to create an adapter to make it fit. No rocket science in this video, but this is the kind of stuff I do all the time, so I might as well shoot it and show it! Enjoy!

    I'm so glad! Blowing stuff up is a pain, especially when you don't have the right parts to fit the pump. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!

    Heat wave in my area this week; my toddler asked for his pool to be set up. I saw the tiny mouth pieces on the side of the pool and groaned. THANK YOU!! We will have some fun outside today, thanks for the life hack!! 🙏🥰 The shiv comment made me cackle 😅

    Glad it was helpful! I’ve had several pumps over the years and the extra nozzles ALWAYS go missing! Maybe I need a life hack to prevent that! Ha ha! Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!

    Thank you! When I wanted to inflate them, *the nozzles* (the spot under the cap ) were dead sealed sometimes. I have no idea how can I inflate them .. Any recommendation please?

    I knew you were gonna do somethin' ridiculous, so I clicked. While this wont work for me I want to inflate at the lake with my battery tire inflator. Maybe I can spin off your idea. However, I would use needle nose pliers rather than my teeth. PS: Do not shiv or shank under any circumstances.

    A straw...maybe?

  • @ClayCarlino

    @ClayCarlino

    Жыл бұрын

    Maybe?.. the only problem I could see with a straw is that they collapse very easily (unless you’re taking about one of those reusable stainless steel ones). The rubber flap inside the air nozzle would likely squeeze a normal drinking straw shut. A tube from a pen on the other hand (or a stainless steel straw!) is rigid and will hold its shape even when the valve flap is pressing against it. Thanks for the thought! Also, thanks for watching and thanks for commenting!
