Good afternoon Hiro, Love your videos ! Where is the citrus element in the ponzu ? i've heard of lemon ponu, lime ponzu, and you also mentioned using yuzu for this part, but you forgot in the demo. Also how much hondashi to use if no bonito flakes?
Thanks for another great recipe, Chef Hiro. Hope you and your cameraman have a good afternoon and a great week.
Excellent video as always!
I went to a 'Japanese ' restaurant one time and all they had was teriyaki. Nowadays we have a choice of multiple sushi trains and restaurants. These videos are so helpful. That first place spurred me to make diy Japanese. Thanks
I love your vids it motivates me to become a better chefkok
Hello, good afternoon. If we opt to use the yuzu juice, how much do we put in? Do we need to reduce the amount of any of the other ingredients to balance it out? Thanks!
😍this is simple. i thought it is needed to cook.
Outstanding, once again our man, Chef Hiro comes through again with another practical applicable lesson on how to do it yourself. Ponzu is my favorite Japanese sauce. I like to use it for my favorite dish Yaki Soba which makes for an excellent combo. One day if ever feasible I would like to come and meet and greet Hiro and experience his food1st hand. Please keep up the good work.
Best chef ever👨🍳❤
Even the most vile creatures of the deep tremble in fear when they hear the war cry of the master sushi chef... Hiro: *G O O D A F T E R N O O N*

Hiro I'm not sure if you'll read this or not or if someone can give me input on this but I just bought some "sushi grade tuna" from my local market and as I was cutting it I noticed thin white lines not very big maybe about a little less then a half an inch and I was able to pull them out with tweezers. Are these worms or just part of the fishes muscle structure?
Hello Chef Hiro San u read my mind i always wonder what Ponzu sauce is! Aricato u r awesome! My tummy is always want to enjoy what u made.

Good afternoon Hiro! Just out of curiosity, do you sharpen your own knives? I would love to see a video on how you take care and do a proper sharpening session with your favorite knives. If you can also comment on what type of stones and grits you use. Mahalo!

I know he said Yuzu is an option, but I would like to know how much he likes to add and when.
@Davi-jx9de
3 жыл бұрын
Don’t worry, what they all show on youtube (every recipe) is only the « basic » ingredients used to make the sauce and the basic techniques. Just feel free to add yuzu to your taste, just try separately. Make his version here then take a bowl of the end product and add yuzu to see what it taste. Cooking is just like science, try, try and try again new stuff, don’t be limited 😃
How much % alcohol the mirin does have?
No "good afternoon" means bad afternoon :'( Great video btw
i like watching your video
🌞 Good morning.
Hiro, good afternoon! can you make takoyaki?

The Cameraman’s voice “problem” is due to a mic issue they had. Cameraman is completely fine guys :)
