🐴 On 30th May, a pony around 13-14 years old was found abandoned by a longtime patron on MG Road, Gurugram.
🐎 Thankfully uninjured, this incident highlights a broader issue. In an era dominated by motor vehicles, these noble animals are still used as beasts of burden and, sadly, are sometimes carelessly discarded.
🌍 Despite advancements in methods of transport and delivery, many in India still depend on animals for their livelihood. It’s crucial to adopt an inclusive approach that doesn't alienate the caretakers of these animals.
🏥 At our clinic, we strive to directly help not only the animals but also their owners by educating and sensitising them. This ensures that the animals are appropriately cared for, lead healthy lives, and are not mistreated.
