Dude no kidding! I actually decided to upgrade to a newer model. Hoping it's more stable, but I'm reading some stuff here and there about how even the newer ones are buggy... Only time will tell! Thanks for watching!

Man so great to see you stretching some lip! Sucks to see it came to the expense of a broken rod tho! I've recently started fishing Pheonix rods and I'm really liking the quality! I currently own 2 of their spinning rods, no casting yet tho so I can't say anything first handidly of their casting section, but I'd imagine they'd be pretty good like their spinning selection. Nice chunky Bertha man! Lets get it!

I think I saw those at Sportsmans, but shied away since I hadn't heard much about them before. I ended up picking up a Lews Mach IM7 (Or something like that!) and I am really digging it. I got one that's a little less stuff and the action on the rod tip when using moving baits is real nice so far 🔥🔥 More bass incoming! Let's go!

I love the reel! But the rod seems a bit iffy... I ended up picking up a Lews and I'm digging it so far with the SLX reel. We'll see how it holds up!
That sucks about the rod. I tend to spend a bit more on my rods and go for a good graphite. I Have had my Berkleys for years without any problems. Granted they were not cheep. So to buy them today they would be around $300 Canadian more or less but again, they have lasted for years and years.

@@FishandForage Nice! I just bought a KastKing centron complete for twitching salmon, hopefully it works. I want to use it for bass too though. its a 7'6 , med-heavy
