That mandocello & the baritone guitar make a good duo.
If that doesn't sell it, I don't know what will. Bravo!
Sounds so amazing and full that it sounds like two instruments are being played.
Beautiful! Nice to run in to a vid with someone who really can play the mandocello. Thank You!
Beautiful playing and tone. I've not ever seen one and doubt I could afford one but this was great...haunting
A haunting sound
An exceptionally fine musical rendering.
Mandocello is a mandola tuned one octave below standard mandola.

No. A mandola is a shrunken mandocello.
Wow - I'm inspired! Beautiful sounding instrument - and very poignant playing by Tyler Jackson! Thank you for showing :)

I just happened to surf through some mandolin videos, when I saw the little thumbnail of you with the mandolcello and got curious. While enjoying your nice playing, I realized, that the background looked somehow familiar und suddenly knew, what and where this place is a n d had some nice memories of my visit at the shop in the beginning of this year !!! :-) dear greetings from Switzerland !!! Now I will go on surfing through some other Heart's Home Acoustic's videos :-)

Wonderful playing, it's very rare to see a musician on youtube giving an expositional performance on one of the larger mando family instruments that doesn't just feel like a mandolinist (or indeed acoustic guitarist failing that) giving it a bash given a vague knowledge of the fretboard. Mr. Jackson shows a real comfort and familiarity with the instrument, not cramming mando/violin repertoire or vague bluesy noodling onto it to make do. Honestly, I'd never buy an instrument based on how it sounds on a video (the player, your mics, youtube's encoding, my speakers, plectrum, strings, not to mention the feel of the instrument in hand, close inspection of fit and finish etc. etc. make so much of a difference as to make demos practically meaningless), but this (these? I'll be sure to check out other videos on your channel) recording really promotes a good image of Hearts' Home Acoustics as a business, and--on a more holistic level--exposes potential customers to the beauty achievable on lesser-known instruments such as the mandocello.
Beautiful sound. What is your current price point?
beautiful...which pick do you use on that.instrument ?
