We rescued a black & tan Pomeranian when he was 10 1/2 years old. Had a lot of health issues, but we wanted to give him a home. Max was a great dog. It's amazing how love helps anyone. Max was a different dog after we adopted him.. Full of energy all the time. He was so grateful. Always followed us everywhere. He lived 4 more years, and we took care of him until the end. We paid over $10,000 rather than putting him to sleep. Those last few months were precious. His love was unique. Max passed away at the age of 14 1/2 years. We gave him a great 4 years. He gave us 4 years full of love. He passed away on March 20, 2020. My wife was devastated. We all were. He was always next to her. She cried and cried for a long time. She told me that she wanted another Max. Same color and everything. Well, we have another black & tan exactly like Max. His name is Maxi. He is wonderful and 3 1/2 years of age. Looks exactly like Max. He's also full of energy. My pom Max will never be forgotten. I see him through Maxi. It's amazing how an animal can have such an impact on a person. Max did that, and we will forever be grateful and never forget. We will always love you, Max!

I will forever miss my Pomeranian Khloe, after we took her into our home after being in a terrible state of health due to abuse and neglect, we took her in and had her only a year, but that year she was alive was one of the greatest i ever known, i miss you Khloe ✝️❤️

I prefer fox faces imo. If we keep breeding Pomeranians with tiny lil snouts they could have all kinds of health issues. Gorgeous pom. I love seeing the classic fox face.

@@FAIFAI318 it’s a girl💚 her name is Juliette. Once I finally was allowed to get a dog, he was super strict at first. He said it had to be a short haired small dog that is known for not barking very much and low shedding. I did research and fell in love with a Pomeranian. He admitted they were cute, but didn’t like the yapping of the breed and assumed they shed a lot! I begged and begged, and he kept saying no no no. I got a hold of a girl who was rehoming her Pomeranian, and I told her to send me a video of her dog being all playful and happy. I showed it to my dad and he fell in love with her personality instantly. We picked her up and brought her home the next day. Since then, he’s fallen in love with my Pom and he ENCOURAGES HER TO YAP ALL DAY😂 he thinks her barking is so adorable cause it sounds like a squeaky toy. He loves how playful she is and surprisingly she’s very low shedding, but he wouldn’t mind either way now. He kidnaps her from me all the time to play with her.

Yes they are, unfortunately our Pomeranian passed away a week ago, and not even 12 yrs old! Devistated our family!

also another fun fact is that they sometimes hate children only if pay attention to Pomeranians they wont bite

My pom adores my grandchildren but i think it's because he is used to being with them from being little 😊

The face on my own, and looks like that in the bath. The eyes move the same way. Missy loves brushing. I gently run a dog brush over her, and towel when bathed, then at a distance use hair dryer to finish her off, and she loves it. Most loving dog I have ever known.

They are spectacular dogs. My girl who is in spirit is one of the great loves in my life. She was very bossy and always had a lot to say. I always teased her asking 'How did God put such a big spirit in such a tiny body?!'. I miss her very much.❤

You're wrong. Pomerania is Polish region. They're called Szpic Miniaturowy (miniature spitz) in Poland. The spitz group contains a lot of northern eskimo dogs like akita, husky, chow chow and samoyed.

I’m so happy I switched from a chihuahua to a Pom. He is 6 1/2 months and he hasn’t went poo in the house ever and only peed on the bed twice when he held it too long at the beginning he learned quickly. He doesn’t tear stuff up, loves to play, zoomies, soft like a bunny, always wants to learn and snuggles.. only thing that I’m not in love with is he has one lame ear 😂 but I’ll take that over a puppy that goes to the bathroom all over the house.(and he has a more Fox face but he’s smallish 5lbs).
