when you hear it near you, means he's far. So you run and pray you dont run into him.. I've seen him walking by as I ran so be alert. When you hear it far from you, you'd better start running cos he is near you. Once you've got the shotgun, pay attention to the source of a loud rustling sound, that's where he is coming from. Hope that helps!
