After your first mention of these boots I ordered a pair of the low back boots. Your comments are accurate, they are comfortable, warm, light weight with good traction. But they are snug fitting on the upper portion and for me, one ankle bone is slightly more prominent, enough to cause painful chafing. They should make the upper loose enough to tuck pants in for wet snow and slush conditions.
