I'm curious if there will ever be a river type map released where theres very little deep ocean tiles and a lot of single tile wide rivers. Idk if it'd play well or not but it seems well suited for bridges

I know the Continents map is supposed to include some "rivers" which is one tile of water separating the land. That's when Midjiwan is thinking players could use bridges

I love this patch. Everything makes so much sense now. I like burn forest fitting in construction branch, I love that it’s balanced because burn forest costs 5*. I love the game.

I like the market changes. I don't like the graphic though. The really tall markets can block the map and make it hard to see what's behind it

Chivalry is a t3 tech, expensive, and then 10 ⭐️ for 2 pops. It's a long way to get those extra pops. We think it will be pretty balanced with those costs.

I do also think it's funny that people don't think burning the forest is worth much since it's 5 stars, but it's the same as v98 ports- 10 stars for 2 population. Of course ports gave you access to the water and can level up the capital but the burn forest feature allows for some high level windmills and later down the road- high level markets

True. Old ports cost 10 and gave you 2 population. Remember, old ports were the way to profit from custom houses too

The devs said that their next project will be a special tribe rework. Hard to say when that will happen though

Bombers should have a range of 2 IMO this makes them riskier to use and easier to counter. If they kept the 4 attack it'd be a high risk high reward unit

I recommend Kickoo if you like water maps and naval stuff. Otherwise, Zebasi is a good choice as they are also strong tribe with easy access to giants

@@polychampions thank you for the response. I am looking for best multiplayer tribes but need to purchase at least one tribe to start. I am not sure if all multiplayer maps are random, water, or preference based. I have been playing versus the computer and want to expand to multiplayer.

Rammers are still very strong, but the loss of aqua crops is a bit of a nerf, in a roundabout way

no, they have a special tech for it called ice fishing, which replaces aquaculure. and it will stay there

2:33 It *USED* to cost 5 stars to burn a forest, but it since been reduced to just 2 stars. So total cost of a burned-forest farm is actually 7 stars, which is considerably less, that 10 and also is quite reasonable even in the mid game if you're in a solid position to invest in marco and not in an immediate danger.

I always say I would prefer the devs improve the weaker tribes rather than nerf what is special about the strong ones
