Agreed. Unfortunately that's common in a lot of bands as bassists are typically in the background and never really get a moment to shine. Bass solos are a rare breed now a days unless you actively seek out groups that do that sort of stuff.

@@mrchristian0457 me too, that’s why I commented here. I’ve toured nationally with music ensembles and I hate when people tell me I’m talented or my skills are a gift from god. No, I was absolutely terrible when I started. I had very little, if any natural talent. But I practiced hours every day for years.

I love his timing, the placement of every note accommodates the drums perfectly and creates a beautiful rhythm for the guitars to ride.

These guys treat the fretboard like a lover.

It might seem crazy what I’m bout to say but THEY LITERALLY PLAY GOD

Easily one of the best young bands I have heard in years.

I'm now religious because there is no way they can make these song without having sold their souls. Phenomenal.

To the dancer for the video. Yoh are elegant. Thank you for your dedication to your art as well. The band is wonderful, but you made the video beautiful

The fact that there's still only 190 dislikes after 7 years is a testament to how good Polyphia really is.

Somehow this still might be my favorite song. It's not the most technical or whatever, but its just perfect. I could listen to this for years on end without getting sick of it.

Because they don't like the song. I don't think it's that they think the people aren't talented. I don't really care for the song myself. It's OK. Nobody is ever wrong for not liking music. Nobody should ever tell someone what kind of music they should like.

@@johnslade7540 well really the only reason you should ever be disliking a video on KZread is if you genuinely don’t want others to see it, because it lessens support to the video on KZread and gets recommended less. So there was no point with interacting if they didn’t like it, they could’ve just left the video

They're just fucking incredible, all four of them. This is probably one of their best ensemble tracks, but my god... insane amounts of talent.

Just imagine if they would stop after this, after not getting enough attention. Im proud of they posterior work and the most hated and NLND takes me to another "intelectual" levels yeah. But Nightmare, Ivory, Light, Euphoria. Renaissance will always be the Heart of Polyphia

Their best piece ever. It's just on a different level. The riffs fit so well together, and the tapping portion at 2:20 followed by that transition at 2:52 is just...ooof, perfect.

It's amazing how much this band has changed it's persona from these days. People love to hate and they definetly capitalized on that while improving and honing the style they already had.

After running through their whole catalog I still feel like this and Blood Moon (which needs to be turned into a full song) are my favorites.
