That's what I started noticing too; it's really bizarre; it's like its like the volunteering audience are all scripted, which made these performances feel less authentic to me. It's always the black guy singing it too; they look back before they start so I think there is someone back there telling them when to start singing. The Tonga host also always kicks the drum off when the Japanese guys are performing.
