Polymer Clay Scrap Technique: Make Your Own Tree Stamp From Polymer Clay

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This tutorial will be part one of a three part project tutorial. In the first part I’ll show you how to create the texture stamp we’ll need for the beads in the next part.
This texture stamp is super easy and only requires a few supplies. Just about anyone can give it a try. If you don’t feel like spending all the time it takes to make this texture you can buy from my Etsy shop or use a different texture for the upcoming project.

    AMAZING Samantha!! I was truly amazed on how such simplicity to these steps and techniques can create a stupendous work of art. I am into doing miniature's, but I am kind of intrigued into heading some other direction.. more matured if I may add. And this I feel is a great way to start. thanks again for your inspiring pieces. I literally snap shot each one of them so I can see which I liked the most. cherry tree I loved the most. So please yes keep on making more. May be the first and last time I message, but trust me I am here watching. Take care doll keep up the great work!!!🤗😍💖🖼️🎨🏺

    Really enjoyed seeing you make this tree stamp and would love to see you making others! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas! I guess it would be also possible to add additional relief by adding fine extrusions too, thus giving a concave as well as convex effect? Will give it a try, anyway! Many thanks again, Samantha!

    Hi Samantha! Thanks for the tutorial. I'd been thinking this would be a good way to use some of the Sculpey III clay I have. My daughter is an artist and I want to use some of her designs. I had one question: how thick did you roll out your clay (the one you used to make the stamp mold)? Thanks for all your inspiration :)

  • @JessamaTutorials

    I rolled it out to about 5mm thick.

    Hi. Please can you give me advice. I h been trying to use the clay tools and a pin tool for scraping a tree into air dry clay and polymer clay. But why is it the edges of the lines I make keep ripping as I drag the lines?

  • @JessamaTutorials

    @JessamaTutorials

    5 жыл бұрын

    I haven't tried air dry clay so I can't give advice there. Have you properly conditioned your polymer clay? Is it soft and supple to work with. If not, you can get ripping along the edges.
