Polymer Clay Metallic Swirl Pendant - Free Jewelry Making Tutorial

These three metallic clay complement each other so well. You can see the trio in many of my videos as the colors are really beautiful. This pendant came to life just by me playing around with clay - which is how a lot of pendants start their journey. Hope you enjoy this very easy project!

Hi Joanna- your Skinner Blend turned out pretty well this time. Something to remember when doing an SK is that every time you put it through the pasta machine it will get wider. To get a blend that is narrower and longer, butt the edge of the blend up against the right side of the pasta machine as you run it through and then flip it around so the opposite side is against the machine next time. All pasta machines are slightly wider or narrower on one side. By flipping the piece you even it out. To get a long skinny piece to accordion fold or roll, cut the blend into even straps (across the blend) , stack them and roll them through the machine length wise at whatever thickness you want and you'll get your strip. Hope this makes sense. I love your pendants and hate to see you struggle with the skinner blends when really, it's just a couple of tricks to get a beautiful even blend. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas and your positive attitude.❤😊

Caroline, you are beyond wonderful for taking time to help me out as skinner blend is for sure my Achilles hill, as you have seen. I will so work on it this weekend with your comment open and following every step. I'm determined to master it at one point in my life! Thank you for all your help. Will let you know how it went!

Le mal de dos est très débilitant. Vous ne pouvez pas vous tenir debout, vous ne pouvez pas vous asseoir, vous ne pouvez pas vous allonger. J’espère vraiment que vous irez mieux, mon cher ami!

Oh Lynn, I am so so sorry to hear that. I did mention in my geode video that I would draw names in this weeks video. I would never ever ask anyone to click on any links or give out information unless you willingly contact me at my email. My friend, it breaks my heart to see that a fun thing could turn into this. Thank you so much for your continued support. Hugs
