The. Bangle is beautiful as well as the pendant. I love watching your tutorials and I've learned so much from you. I'm a new recruit to polymer clay, I'm 73 yrs old, but I'm having such fun. You really make this so interesting and seem to have such fun doing it. Thanks Deb.

Awww, thank you! I’m glad you’re having fun and learning something 💕
Wish you could have seen my dogs’ expressions, heads tilting, during the extruder part of your video. Priceless! These pieces turned out phenomenal- simply stunning. Had to hurry up and order the metal stamps, only 15 left now on Amazon. Hopefully will have some stamps from paper crafting that will mimic the other flower. Thanks for sharing!

Hahaha mine too!😂
It's almost a "stained glass" effect. It's really a beautiful montage of color.
Another Debs here! I’m quite new to poly clay, although I’ve worked with cold porcelain for 40 years, learning on my own. I’ve been hesitant to try the technique myself, but, your bangle is so beautiful that I’m going to give it a try. The extruded portion of the title is what drew me in (besides the photo of your finished piece.) I’m excited to build on what basics I’ve already mastered, so always looking at video’s that are extensive with a good host, and you, Deb, do not disappoint! I also adore stained glass, and this seems like a great shortcut to. Your clay looked so beautiful and shimmery with the addition of mica powders! 😊 The addition of black mica is much neater than using paint for your faux turquoise, thanks! Geez, your talent and massive wealth of techniques will keep me coming back ~ always! Happy New Year, and may it be a productive one for you and yours! I’m off now to sub and find your Amazon Site! 🥳 Thanks for the lovely share

Hi' Deb. I have stumbled upon your channel. I just want to say how very talented you are ive never heard of this craft until I found your channel. Im absolutely hooked. Im waiting for a delivery so I can get started. I just want to say to the people that have made snotty comments towards your as you mentioned in one of your videos. Well those people do that because they are jealous of your amazing work and obviously have nothing better in their lives. Im so glad I've found your channel. Im in the UK. Great work girl. My dahling!! I’m so glad you did this tut! The extruder “tips” I believe are called dies. I really love this color combo too! 💗
So neat, thank you 😍👏🏻👏🏻 *extruder discs, dies, washers…or “thingy” works, too 😂
Organic is the word you’re looking for. Love this❤️
Beautiful!!! I love the color combinations that were revealed from under the black. The finished products look great❣️ Those extruder circles are called dies, extruder dies. I wasn’t sure if someone mentioned this to you already. This is another great project idea, Deb, thank you so much for sharing!! And I love your long videos, the length isn’t a problem for me. I figure whatever time it takes to walk us through your project is perfect 😊

This has to be one of my all time favorite Clayboutique techniques you have ever done. Unbelievable colors and talent !!! Do yourself a big favor and order the Makins' Drill attachment for your extruder. You will save hurting your hands or causing pain when you extrude. It's the greatest tool I have ever purchased for myself. We all know your husband already has a drill you can use. You will never go back to hand extruding and you will thank yourself every time you use it. I love the metal cutter you used; is this available for purchase anywhere? I love your talent Deb. You always do such amazing work. Be very proud of your teaching techniques, you are so great and fun to watch. You are a fabulous artist to learn from. Ida Rogers

I’ve never done a bangle so now I can’t wait to try it. The first time I watched this video, I didn’t have any headphones and I couldn’t have sound on where I was so I watched it without. I could “hear” your voice in my head and knew EXACTLY what you were doing just by watching your hands! I guess I’ve watched alot (all) of your videos! Thanks for always sharing your techniques!!! Beautiful result on the bangle!

This is beautiful. I tried it and for the first time in a long, I had a massive failure. Colors were muddy and not enough contrast. I’ll try again. Maybe use a #2 thickness or even just #1 for the circles. Either way, I’m completely inspired and thank you so much for sharing your talents. 😊

Aww, that’s a shame! I rolled mine onto a number 3, but mine is an atlas 150, 0 being the thickest. If you’re using a different pasta machine, then the thicknesses may be different. What colors did you use?

I did enjoy the video. I have seen the technique with the extruder before but never like that. what an amazing spin with that technique. I have never been successful with a bangle. My always turn out way to flexible.
@clayboutique

Properly baked PC should be flexible…make them thicker if you want less flex. 💕
That is so pretty.
Hehe I just bought one of these from hobby craft because it was a special price. I didn’t have a clue what I was going to do with it so I’m ever so happy to see this video. I’m a newbie to polymer so I’m still screwing a lot of items that I think I will need. Thank you for showing us.

Your color choices are always beautiful and unique. Great teacher! Thank you for sharing your gift. I’ve watched several of your bangle videos and wonder how you decide when to use a removable form and when you leave it as part of the structure of the bracelet.
@clayboutique
Жыл бұрын
I don’t ever use the metal form as part of the bangle. That’s reusable.
I have a suction vise with rubber grips that I adhere to my work surface. I put the extruder between the rubber grips and crank the vise tight. It makes extruding much easier. I also have an attachment for a drill but I don't use it much. The extruder in the vise is easier to control. The die is actually called an extruder disc.
I love this
Abstract maybe? This is so beautiful!
Extruder dies. I love the design. Reminds me of Mexico. Aztec or Myan maybe. I'm going to order the bracelet blanks and try myself. Thanks for the inspiration.

Aztec! That was another word I was looking for, and couldn’t think of it! 🤣Thank you!
They are called "dies" for the extruder (singular is a die). Love the tute!
My favorite ever!!! Gorgeous! Artisan, artesian, ethnic, boho, Moraccan (sp?) what ever you call it it's just beautiful!!! The thing in the extruder is it a dye, die? Love this!!! Will be trying to emulate this technique next. Thank you!

I agree, really nice technique! I have a hard time remembering what things are called Deb, it is, I think, because we see no correlation between what we’re using and it’s name.
