Polyglot Speaking in 7 Languages| How I Became Fluent
I have been learning languages for 7 years and I now speak 7 languages fluently. This is how and why I learned each language in a brief video demonstrating what being a polyglot sounds like!

His Spanish, although curious about the accent looks like the one of a real Spanish from Spain speaker. It's awesome.
You should learn Portuguese because it is quite similar to Spanish and Italian. You could learn it in 6 months with your previous understanding those languages you already speak

It’s possible to learn even faster (I am Brazilian). Portuguese and Spanish share almost 90% of vocabulary.

I learned in a few weeks'months however keep in mind you'll be speaking portunol. I'm working on separating Spanish from Portuguese right now. It's quite dufficult.
I wasn’t paying attention u til Spanish caught my ear bc it’s my second language I speak it fluently and learning German and I had no idea I could understand Italian until now

That's so nice to see people talk about your goals and achievement. That's make me more motivated to learn another language. That is the reason why create my channel. Congrats man, you rock!!!
kya baat hai :) Hats off, Ayan. You're my hero !!
in brief: The video is by Ayan, an American polyglot who speaks seven languages: English, Hindi, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, and German. He has learned four of these languages in the past four years. The video is part of a series he does every year to track his progress and to inspire others to learn new languages. In the video, Ayan speaks in each of the seven languages he knows. For each language, he provides a brief explanation of why or how he started learning it and his current level of proficiency. He starts with English, explaining that it's his first language, his best language, and the one he uses daily for communication with friends and family. After speaking in all seven languages, Ayan expresses hope that the video will motivate viewers to continue learning their own languages or to pick up a new one. He concludes by asking viewers to like, share, comment on the video, and subscribe to his channel for future videos.

Bravo👍🏻👍🏻
Hats off to you pal. If you learn Urdu, Portuguese and Mandarin Chiinese in addition to all those languages you already know, you'll be able communicate to 35% of the world population in their respective mother tongue and to approximately 25% in a second and third language in addition to the 35% 👌👍💪
That is AMZING. I wish I was as good as you in the languages Iearned at school but I am only really proficient in English which I staryed to learn when I was 12, but am now in my mid fifties. Icelandic is my native language.
Hi Ayan! this video is great, please don't get swayed by any negative comments here ( obviously jealousy is sadly still existent. ) you really inspire me as a 2nd gen Indian to get back to my own roots of Indian languages. I didn't grow up with Hindi / Urdu and I Love the sound of Urdu poetry so I'm trying to learn it now! I try self-teaching with a book and just listen to lots of Urdu videos lol. Your Russian inspires me so much, but omg it seems so hard. You've really achieved a high level of proficiency in these, rather than just dabbling in 20+ languages so it's really great! PS please consider learning Tamil. It will be interesting to see how much progress you can make given your knack for language learning.
I've started learning my 4th language (German) ita of 12. I'm a native Russian speaker from Ukraine. U r really talented. I wonder why I haven't stumbled across your Russian channel before

As a polyglot I can say he is fluent but in Hindi or Spanish he needs to learn a little bit more.
Do you ever use your second languages to learn the next Like use Spanish to learn Russian on Duolingo Or clozemaster?
Hi! Would you like to learn Chinese?😊
Realistically what's the limit of how many people can tend to hold in their head at once on fully fluent, fully functioning level at the same time? I would think after awhile it would get pretty hard to retain optimum usability beyond a certain number of languages...
@PolyglotCorner
It would depend on how often they use their languages and in what capacity, but eventually without consistent use and practice, one would be unlikely to retain fluency in more than 3-4 languages. That’s just speaking from my experience and opinion on the matter.

I disagree. Many polyglots I've seen are great in at least one of their languages. Further, it depends on their goals. Many people, like myself, love languages, love traveling, and love talking to people in their language while learning about their culture. I prefer to learn many at a conversational level and don't want to limit myself by only learning one or two.
Your hindi accent needs work.
To utter some sentences from a page in front of you....is not really knowing a language...can you read a newspaper ? can you understand a TV show, can you write a letter without grammatical mistakes? learning and knowing a language seriously -can take years....this guy is a scammer. He makes these videos to make some money from Utube....
@PolyglotCorner

Yes, I can, in fact, do all of these things lol
Really? Language per year, and you're fluent in all of those? BS! I will challenge any non-native Finnish person to speak with me - in Finnish. I can't wait to see them fail. Finnish language - especially spoken language - is so difficult and so different from the language one learns by reading books about it, watching Finnish tv-shows or whatever immersion methods they use (apart from actually talking with native Finns for years), that any self-acclaimed polyglot would be in real trouble. I know this. I'm a native Finn. Make my day. See you in a year. Ai niin, joo...Sama Suomeksi. Oikeasti? Vuosi per kieli, ja sujuvasti puhut kaikkia niitä? Aikamoista hevonpaskaa! Oon valmis haastamaan kenet vaan, ei-natiivin henkilön, juttelemaan kanssani Suomeksi.
Sei un b1 in italiano
if it is so easy for you to learn languages please learn Ukrainian there are couple of reasons for that: 1) since russia occupied Ukraine for 370 years many Ukrainians were dispersed around the World, so you' d defenitely meet some Ukrainian to speak with 2) russians did a lot to aliminate Ukr language otherwise there would be millions of youngsters to speak Ukrainian so to bring back historical justice and to support Ukraine right now please spread Ukrainian language sen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronology_of_Ukrainian_language_suppression 3) Ukrainian language is very beautiful In a contest of the beauty of languages held in Paris in 1934, the Ukrainian language came in third place, trailing only French and Persian.
