@Wilson Anderson The most difficult on the ones I am learning is def Russian and Japanese. Italian is easy if you are acquainted with some romance languages so that is close to one of the most easy ones to learn atm. German is easy as well, except the grammatical cases and the time I dedicate to learning a language? Just about 2 hours a day or 1 with good technique. Technique really matters so research that first. And yes it is kind of confusing learning 2 languages at the same time, but you will be able to separate them if you focus. GL.

@@user-tm3vt6vm8e I think there'll always be something more than just watching. For instance, how on earth could you gain enough vocabulary to be highly fluent without puttin the effort of memorizing and learning the voc? Series won't teach you all the voc, nuances you need to be fluent. Same for grammar, there are so many exceptions and rules that you need to read and learn to understand fully the language.

Wow, Christine you are a truly gifted individual with an innate gift for languages. Besides that I think growing up speaking French was like a bridge for learning other European languages, as there is some French in German & definitely in other Romance languages. Also learning to speak Tamil from a young age likely gave you a good foundation for some other Asian languages. I found the connection between Tamil grammar and Korean to be fascinating. I have lived in the Chinese speaking part of Asia for many years, but I find Korean to be very challenging. Looking forward to watching your other videos.

Although some words are not pronounced perfectly, but her utterances sound like that she has had many conversations with native Japanese. It’s because she is very good at emphasizing some syllables when speaks emotionally (such as “zutto”=for a long time). If I hear her speech without explanation, I would think “oh, she’s lived in Japan for many years and has many Japanese friends.”
