Just got my happygel in the mail and I'm about to sculpt my nails with them! I started with learning acrylic and I was hesitant about polygel for awhile but using it on a client the other day got me obsessed 😍 it's so much easier to shape and file, I just wish polygel colors were more expansive

I do my own nails so I have a cabinet full o brand new nai supplies and I am currently quarantine with two of my friends I used to go to the shop but I made my own in my room (just for friends) and I do my mom's nails two like acrylic and I'm 10 my mom got me the gel x apre kit it's really cool and btw go on AliExpress they have nail supplies for cheap

Just got a polygel kit because I'm more comfortable with ibd than acrylic, but want to do the ombre without polish. This helps so much!

You've inspired me to start doing my nails again. I have polygel materials ordered. Unfortunately my efile crapped out on me. I hope to get a new one next month. I'm terminally ill and can't sit in the nail shops chair anymore for that long. This, I can do at home and no one here does any cool designs. Unfortunately all the stores are sold out of rubbing alcohol though 😡😡😡

Ommgggg!!! Femi you got this up so fast for me thank you!!! I love it!!! This is really helpful for me! How much do you need to worry about layer thickness with Polygel? Do you ever have problems curing it? Is it pretty easy to encapsulate bigger stuff like Fimo in? PS your Bliss nails are so freaking cute the colours are perfect!

Im really glad it helped! You dont have to worry about layer thickness at all. Also if you feel comfortable building it layer by layer thats okay too, it blends together very well and looks consistent in the end. I never had a problem curing polygel so far. Its not my preferred method for encapsulating things bigger than glitter. Last time I tried that I remember struggling. Acrylic is actually easier for bigger pieces. Like big decals or large mylar flakes. I think fimo would be okay with polygel though! especially if its set well in place and not moving around while capping.

I love how professional you are, you definitely know what you're doing but this says "for beginners", you have to keep mind that beginners don't usually buy all these products. They usually buy kits if anything and a lot of the things you're using aren't usually included in polygel kits. Maybe you could do a video of you using just the kit itself? I know that would help tons more as a beginner! 💘

Hi Femi! I just want to say again how grateful I am to you for making this video for me!! I've (FINALLY) been able to start working with Polygel and I'm super excited! If you have time, I'd love if I could ask for a few more tips from you... It seems like the slip solution is combining with the gel, and then flooding into the cuticle. I end up with a very thin layer of gel around the cuticle and skin. Am I using too much slip solution? Or am I maybe using too much of the gel?? I'm working on my own nails, which I keep pretty short (just a bit past my fingertip), so I'm wondering if that could be the problem. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them! Anyway, thank you again SO much for this video!! 💖💖💖

Thank you so so so so much for showing this video in detail! I had to rewind it a couple times to a certain spot to find out what were you possibly putting on the nail before seconds before you put the little butterflies on the nail. I’m gonna run to assume you put a layer of base coat of topcoat or some thing and then stuck the little sequences to the nail and then You’re at it before going on to put some clear poly gel on top. I’m going to assume that that was either you brushed on topcoat or basecoat I’m going to assume base coat but I didn’t see you wipe the nail after you cared it so if you could help me understand what the stuff was that you put on the nail before that made the little sequins stick to the nail? I hope I makes sense?!
