NEW EPISODE of @niceandneatthepodcast available on all streaming platforms‼️
Nice & Neat the podcast has a new home! The same dope show with the same dope episodes, Nice & Neat is now part of the @REVOLTtv family and their #REVOLTPodcastNetwork! 🎙
(EP. 76) “POLYGAMY IS A RICH MAN’S GAME PT. 2 W/ MIKE RASHID”
In part 1 of this episode we wanted to respect the different ideologies of relationship and the topic of Polygamy came up as we spoke about this current landscape of dating. Polygamy has become a hot topic and truly an option for many. Our comments from Part 1 of this episode were flooded with, “it would’ve been nice to have someone who practices polygamy on the show.” One thing about us at Nice and Neat we’re going to give our audience what they want! We took that advice to gain further clarity on the topic and brought on Mike Rashid, a practicing polygenist.
Mike broke down the umbrella of polygamy and the all that comes with it, outside of its “sex appeal”. Mike also let us know that his sister was one of two wives in her current marriage.
Make sure to comment and let us know some of your dating experiences and can you see polygamy ever being an option for you?
If you enjoy this episode please do us a favor and share with your friends and family! 🙏🏾

As a woman I noticed how A LOT of women especially Black American women get real offended about conversations about polygamy, when a lot of these same women will lay up and have children out of wedlock. These same women will also be a side chic and have children by married men in a heartbeat. Not only that, someone being polygamous is none of anyone’s business if you are not involved in that relationship.

I think the divorce rate stats mention is a little misleading.. women in other countries Eg in the global south don’t necessarily have the legal or cultural freedom to leave a marriage. Many other contributing factors IMO. Also saying humans are the only mammals who practice monogamy is... objectively false and easily disprovable :( e.g. wolves.

His comments about “men can’t control themselves” in the workplace was incredibly irresponsible and ridiculous. That’s like saying “cashiers can’t control themselves around money, you should expect the to steal”. Grown men are perfectly capable, but because of enablement like this, they see nothing wrong with it. Sexual harassment comes in so many different forms. You’re at work to work. Continuous sexual advances is crazy. People see what they want to see and take things to far and become killers, sexual assault era, and stalkers. Considering there are such things as maternal leave and parental leave for men, advancing in your career is your business and you can pursue a promotion and get paid more. A lot of men get paid more money just because they have a penis… they did nothing better or more glorious . As someone who works in HR those particular comments annoyed the hell out of me.

19:35 so Omar was correct a few eisodes back. This guy says he doesn’t get joy from a woman’s love. Omar said something to the notion of he doesn’t see the benefit of polygamy due to the bond, emotional taxation and feelings it takes to manage one woman. If you don’t desire love and find peace in a woman’s love and want to build in that then yeah dating multiple women is anything. You’re not even interested in what she can give you besides children.

"Men can't control themselves in the workplace" is just a fact. That comment was so obviously made to bring up the point that women need protection because simply, many men harass, like it or not. Doesn't mean women should just accept it and be passive about it, nor does it mean that men are just supposed to behave that way. Every single day I'm amazed how simple statements are ridiculously misconstrued.

I also dont believe that the fellas (who are usually very versed in perspectives in conversations) presented much of a challenege to his views. There are many points that he was misinformed on, but I will speak on this one a lil bit. The culture of the middle eastern people (not just the women) is different because they are more duty bound not because they are perfectly ok, they just dont complain and do what is expected as their cultural norms. That whole young men cant control themselves comment was reckless and should have been checked immediately. Ok bye.

Young men do need sexual discipline, they need discipline all around. I don’t know how you took that statement, but I was stating it out of protecting women. I’m extremely protective of women… If you really listen to what I said in this interview, I don’t think you’d really disagree. First of all, im speaking about my preferences. I do not think poly is for most people. I do not preach it. For a man to have that with his women, he needs to be honest, he needs to be able to take care of his women wholeheartedly and making them feel safe and secure… he needs to be a man of great resources, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and financially….

I am a women who comes from a Muslim family, raised Muslim. Believe me these women ARE NOT happy. I’ve seen it first hand, they are jealous, and territorial. I can tell you many situations of men with multiple wives. For instance, the wives of the Iman, not liking each other and arguing, because of what, the man. No women deep down wants to share. Also, I have friends who are poly Ig content creator, they have them same problems. It always starts off ok, but once you see what you dealing with and emotions start flaring up. It rarely works. Furthermore, women in other countries don’t have rights like women over here, in some countries women are not able to go out in public without a man. Currently, women are in the process and starting to attain rights, such being able drive a car or receiving an education. Mind you, I’ve been around Muslims my whole life, and I’ve been around many cultures and those women never tell delightful or positive stories. I have Somalian friend right now, who will tell you what these women go through and how abusive some men are over in the EAST! Women are not treated the best in a lot of those countries, they have no choice. Society looks down upon these women who are not married, less valuable. Parents send them to marry whoever. I prefer not. One man, one women for ME. This man knows he isn’t fair, stop playing! Some of these men pick and choose what they want to follow from our ancestor, because y’all damn sure do not do everything our ancestors did. And who said that their actions were righht? Back in the day women had to depend on men, they didn’t work, so to survive she has to be with a man, so that he can provide. They had to accept anything. Women if you accept this, you may be taken care of, but one women will always lack and feel less than. Imagine having kids, working, businesses, working out, etc. When do you have time to fulfill the emotional needs of 2 different women. On top of all your other responsibilities . I rather work and be single and have my men, than to accept this Just say I don’t have the discipline or this monogamy isn’t what I want because his arguments are not strong! It’s bias, and lacks factual evidence of this whole natural thing

I swear when you leave 🥷’s to get something done, they come back with another problem. Y’all went & got this man to speak on polygamy. The same man that doesn’t want his daughters to be in a situation like that. 🤣 This sh’t right here baffles me bruh. The BS you 🥷’s continue to pull with this topic. The lack of education y’all have around this topic is crazy bruh. Stop bringing up the “Old” days. You 🥷’s stay bringing that up because it’s something you “Heard” all your life, but don’t really know what it meant back then. There was a different type of respect back then, the true kings & queens understood the assignment & there weren’t all this hoopla over just having a another woman just because you wanna have the choice to go from 1 to the next. Most of you dudes don’t even know what it really takes to LEAD. Y’all can’t even figure out simple problems, you think you about to juggle more than 1 woman? Hang it up. Then it’s y’all talking about what “Women” need to stop doing, this is an ongoing problem society will forever have. How about teach more boys how to protect their sexual energy, that it’s NOT cool to run through women & just because you let this backwards society raise your children to believe that they aren’t important, & that their sexual energy isn’t important, doesn’t make it okay for little boys to grow up thinking this toxic mindset. Just as much as women’s sexual energy is important, the same goes for dudes. Y’all be wrapped up in what society has taught you, that it’s always one sided & a double standard when it comes to women & men. What 1 can do vs what the other can’t do. The typical mindset of a brainwashed human being. Stop following these ppl rules & taking it as a way of living. Your way of living doesn’t mean it should be that way. To add, let’s stop bringing up & using nature as an excuse to sleep with multiple women. Yeah, we are human beings that practice monogamy & naturally it isn’t that way when it comes to animals. It still doesn’t make it politically correct to say this is how we all should be living. Not everyone wants to deal with multiple women, not all of us want to live directly like nature itself when it comes to the true nature of animals. This is nothing more than a basic mindset that people stay using to justify why they want more than one woman, or should I say, a reason to say “That’s how we should be living” NO sir, you can live that way. What works for you, is for you. & what works for someone else is for someone else. People get to wrapped up in trying to make & pass this sh’t off as facts. Not everything is facts, & not everything is meant to be taken literal. You people struggle with discipline , you can’t expect to elevate to the next level if you can’t overcome the natural thing that was instilled in all of us, except it takes some ppl longer than others not conquer it. While there are some that are just naturally disciplined & don’t need to do all the extra sh’t to master it. This applies to everything else that you struggle with, & instead of doing better & overcoming the thing’s god instilled in you to overcome. You find ways to go around it & then wrap it up in a truth that you try to dissect with the BS you spew. At the end of the day rather you spray perfume on a pile of sh’t. It’s still sh’t at the end of the day, rather or not you are unable to control yourself, it doesn’t make you any better than before. You’re not facing the thing’s you need to face in order to evolve in area’s that you know you need to evolve in. Too many of y’all be weak out here & try to smash everything you see & wonder why your life be in shambles. Your focus is off, & your not aligned with the purpose god put you here for. You gotta 1st be honest with yourself about the thing’s you want, & the thing’s you want to be better in. Then actively work on those thing’s & challenge yourself more each time. Too many dudes be looking at the external of something & seeing multiple women as one big orgy party. In this day & age it will never workout that way no matter what information you spew out in the world. These dudes don’t understand what respect is, loyalty, communication, & everything else that it takes to have a long healthy relationship with 1 woman. So what the F these 🥷’s going to do with multiple? Save it. 🤣

Respectfully, self control & discipline is very attractive in a man. Especially when it’s one man with one woman, as a woman it shows that he can hold it down no matter what his fleshy desires are. That’s why a man leaves to join his wife, not wives. The kings long ago who had many wives biblically have fallen because of it, these woman worshipped other Gods. Everything these wives were doing had influence on this one man. One wasn’t enough to the flesh of man. But the to the Holy Spirit it is enough, for Adam. That is why when quantity is a priority it desensitizes the importance of quality in one person. Foundation and hierarchy is important before multiplication. Multiplication in children, not wives respectfully. 1 Corinthians 7:2

I think we should be accurate in terminology with these conversations. Polygamy is a person being MARRIED* ☝🏾 to more than one person. Which in America is illegal. It is a crime called Bigamy, and has been outlawed by and in this country since the 1830s. Polyamory is being in an intimate/sexual Relationship ** ☝🏾 with more than one person. Which is what EVERYONE in these conversations are participating in or debating. If they’re in America. Peace to the N&N podcast ✌🏾

After watching this, I think a lot of women are offended by this conversation because they don't even have the ability to get that type of man for a monogamous relationship. They simply don't attract that. And that's cool!!! Ultimately, I think people just need to stay in their lanes for what works for them.

I welcome more openly polygamous men into the dating pool. It gives other men the confidence to be honest about what they want. For whatever reason, men like to deny that they too “follow the leader,” but the reality is that it’s human nature to observe the risk of another person before deciding to take the risk (or not) for ourselves. For example, if witnessing the peace of a polygamous man is what it takes for men to be upfront and honest then men need more Mike’s to represent. Simultaneously, peacefully monogamous men should be found more easily 😅

It makes way more sense than the cheating etc that many are doing . However a lot of people still wouldn’t be able to handle it because it required discipline, communication and a lot of responsibility. Honesty is of upmost importance and the community it can build is also very important.

Although I agree that polygamy is whoever’s business. Mike Rashid is very rudimentary in his ideology about this. What makes humans different from animals is humans have a high degree of cognitive emotional intelligence and communication ability that animals and mammals don’t have. Also all species have “rules” on how offspring is raised and cared for. So comparing humans to animals in terms of sex and procreation does not register and sounds ridiculous. Humans are not animals.

my issue w/ Rashid is that he throws in a lil truth w/ his BS. he’s full of contradictions & he’s rigid and inflexible on his ideologies. he believes his way is “THE” best way. i hate that for him. i used to think he was a cool dude & subscribed to his channel but had to unfollow recently. his interview here… defending Trump… blaming black ppl for their murders (instead of putting the blame on white supremacy), etc. not only proves i made the right choice… but that he’s pro-whyt. which explains his interracial dating & mating choices. yet, scientifically, he’s right on evolution of mating…give ‘em that.

Polygamy is NOT a rich man’s game. Infact it’s not a game at all. Polygamy is for who ever women see enough value in to share him. His limited understanding of his own value is subject to monetary authority. That says a lot about him and how much in poverty he is in with himself.
