You are my favourite channel. 12:30 - Baptized in that chapel. 20:54 - The Polruan school would do treasure hunts on that little beach. We'd dug with our spades to find the treasure! Pieces of silver paper. And that's where I got my 25 meter swimming certificate! 23:24 - My best friends parents were the landlords of the Lugger inn. I remember calling on him most days before school and playing darts in the empty pub. The smell of beer and cigarettes high in the air. 24:22 - My grandfather had a heart attack and died on those steps whilst waiting for the ferry to Fowey with me by his side. 28:12 - The Winkle Picker has been there since I was a child. 28:50 - Mother and father had their wedding reception there in 1964. You have taken me to the place that I have held in my heart for 50 years. I thank you, Sir. I am forever in your debt.

Thank you so much for your kind comment. Polruan is a lovely place, you can catch the ferry from Fowey, which is what we did and is a great way to spend an afternoon :)

stayed in a house on fore st/chapel lane when i was 8 years old in 1975,,still can temember it well,,superb place,,,place we stayed was at 17 min 53 seconds on the left
