DOT & ATOM are both a good long term HOTDL!

Ive had dot for a while and will star adding atom...both look good enough to hold. Hopefully the developer struggle doesn't eat any of them alive

Osmosis is just utilizing ibc from the standpoint of tokens trading on their platform whereas cosmos is striving to become an ibc router for token exchanges and smart contract executions

Even if I like the both of them, I have a preference for Cosmos, and particularly because of the Axelar project which is absolutely amazing.

I've used both and I enjoy the experience from cosmos a lot more. I find the keplr wallet in paticular to be the best. And using osmosis is such a breeze. I can't say the same trying to use or stake my polkadot...

As a mostly Polka guy myself, I agree with you, Polkadot's wallet is very complex but simplistic versions have been released for mobile. Cosmos's Keplr is definitely easy to use for newbies

same. also now the minimum dot for reward is 120... not an easy entry. My dot is just sitting there with inflationary rate of 7% per year. I might try to send them to Acala for some defi.

Could be true but that in itself does not say Cosmos will be doing better in the long term. There are good projects with crappy wallets and vice versa. Agreed that the wallet has to improve though. I like polkadot but yes we have to wait and see how things develop in the future.

agree, i still did't stake my dot and i am buying if for the past 2 years, not having a big bag is also a reason, but we all know polka si the next big thing after bitcoin and eth, and is still early

It’s emissions inflation and general tokenomics are pretty bad. It also uses the most centralized PoS Sybil protection with only top 100 validators per block getting rewards. I own ATOM and OSMO but not convinced it’s the magic bullet it’s hype squad says it is yet.

@@videphris3934 I stake a bunch but yeah I agree here needs to be revisions. Cosmos SDK is crazy good but none of these new projects success pays fees to Atom as far as I know. That needs to be changed. More value needs to be captured otherwise it's a hard sell for investors. I've heard rumors of changes coming so I guess we'll see if they can turn the narrative around.

Polkadot is my favorite project. It'll prove itself in mid term as most secure and project friendly (I heard from developers). Gavin will lead Polkadot to the top, I believe.

I’ve been in crypto for years and every time I hear polkadot explained I can’t help but feel it’s too convoluted and confusing to ever acquire mass retail adoption. Parachains, auctions, consensus layer vs app layers. It’s too much.

ATOM with shared security will do for me. Burn mechanism is in the work as well, airdrops are undervalued and ofc cosmos hub has a router module, so every zone can route tx through the hub, meaning value capture for ATOM.

Polkadot is superior in terms of security. Relay chain and parachains have shared security for the bridge.

Holding both, both are down in the dumps. Holding on for those staking returns though. I think both of them will have a place in the crypto space. Competition is good for users.

U missed that Parathreads are payed in DOT. A parathread is parachain, but pay as you go.

Even if I like both of them, I have a preference for Cosmos. Just like Cosmos, there's another project I'm eyeing right now -- the United Token. It is changing the life of Millions with its use case and its vast ecosystem, offering several opportunities to our community members.

I won’t lie. I stopped using helium miner a long time when I learned about tech host farms and how they are very profitable for mining without using any machine. The custom miner is the best mining plan to use while mining with them, and it is the best miner to use.
