Politics Today Are Christian freedoms under threat from this new Labour Government?
In this week’s edition of Politics Today Simon Barrett is joined by Robert Harris from Voice for Justice UK and Helen Spiby Van of the Christian People’s Alliance.
On Thursday 2nd July the British electorate gave the Labour party a massive parliamentary majority to govern and implement their election manifesto, which contains worrying policy proposals that could pose a threat to our Christian freedoms.

A Christian came up to me in London just after my brother died saying that God wanted him to speak to me. I politely said that whilst I respect his faith, I wasn’t in a place to even have that conversation as my brother had just died. He responded telling me how my brother (aged 29 when died, however severely ill since a young age) died for his sins and it was a good thing because God has a plan. I actually politely told him to have a nice day and walked away, however in reality it was an incredibly disrespectful, horrible thing to say. All in the name of Christianity. I believe faith is beautiful. Organised religion however is not.
