Why do we continue to think that John Roberts is willing to save us and Scotus itself? He's quite willing to buttress the "5's" corruption. He really doesn't care about any so called reputational damage to the Court. Life time appointments and an overarching arrogance too many of them seem to have will do that for you.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ya got no facts .... again - - - "Many fine people" During the 1993 Senate confirmation hearing for Supreme Court nominee Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Chairman Biden of the Senate Judiciary Committee made a commented about the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC), an organization committed to preserving Confederate statues with ties to the Ku Klux Klan. Biden began his remarks by referring to a speech made on the Senate floor by Sen. Howell Heflin (D-Ala.), who was speaking in support of efforts by Sen. Carol Moseley Braun (D-Ill.) to deny renewal of a Confederate flag design patent to the UDC. “I, too, heard that speech and, for the public listening to this, the senator made a very moving and eloquent speech. As a son of the Confederacy, acknowledging that it was time to change and yield to a position that Sen. Carol Moseley-Braun raised on the Senate floor, not granting a federal charter to an organization made up of many fine people who continue to display the Confederate flag as a symbol.

Do not get black robe! - change your stated position from what you said at the hearing (without first explaining "why" to your citizens?) Boom. Boot and replace. - abide by the exact same standards for all courts below with respect to "accepting no gifts" and "appropriately recuseing" (looking to you, Thomas) None of this political nonsense either. No witholding house/senate voting. Straight "up or down" vote (60%+ carries). No secret voting. Names required.

One would assume that it is illegal to lie to Congress. However the impeachment process is the same as far as I know. The House would have to vote to impeach. Then 2/3rds of the of the Senate would have to vote for removal. However: Article II, Section 4: The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. Some of these Trumpian members of the Supreme Court have been bribed, but they haven't bribed anyone. If a public official accepts money to do, or not do, an official act, they can be charged with bribery - even if they don't follow through with what was asked, or if they would have done what was asked anyway. So there are are multiple members of the Supreme Court that could be impeached and stand trial in the Senate. Current House? No hope of the impeachment of a Trumpian member of the Supreme Court. 2/3rds of the Senate voting for their removal with the current Senate now infiltrated by more Trumpians and insurrectionists? Not going to happen. The corrupt defend the corrupt.

Rashida Tlaib supports the BDS movement. Tlaib made a bigoted tweet accusing Jewish-Americans of having divided loyalties, an attack frequently made by anti-Semites She wrote at least one op-ed on Louis Farrakhan's website. Tlaib did a selfie with a Hezbollah-praising activist to also denied Israel's right to exist. New York Magazine named her one of 10 activists who may become the future of the Democratic Party as the "new Obama." Tlaib was sworn in surrounded by a group that included Sarsour and Nihad Awad as her special guests. Rep. Ilhan Omar is known for her anti-Semitism, insensitivity and mocking remarks about Christians,[301] and homophobic comments directed against colleagues. Omar tweeted "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel." Omar supports BDS. Omar claims congressional support for Israel is "All about the Benjamins baby," a reference to the Ben Franklin $100 bill, implying members of Congress are paid off by AIPAC. Despite this, Democrats gave her a seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The fourth-ranking Democrat in the House, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, defended Tlaib and Omar as "thoughtful colleagues." Tlaib is a member of a Facebook group that posts anti-Semitic videos and memes. The Daily Caller reported that a key fundraiser for Tlaib posted a Holocaust denial video.

The Special Counsel, in an attempt to avoid unnecessary delays asked the Supreme Court, at the time when the court of appeals was considering this matter a second time, to consider the facts, but they declined! The Supreme Court then delayed accepting the matter, and also hearing arguments! Considering the financial considerations AT LEAST four members of the Supreme Court have, in my opinion, received because of their status, (and I have posted those considerations previously), the aim of The Court seems to be to assist the defendant as much as they are able!
