Polishing Emax (Two-Step Technique) Dave King Demonstrates

Two step Emax polish using meisinger polishing wheel and Robinson extra stiff polishing brush with diashine. Demonstrated on a hybrid Abutment crown for use with a Tibase.

    Hey there. So i got emax laminate veneers done and im not very happy with the symmetry of the teeth. You can’t notice from just looking at them from the front, but if you look from a side angle or top, some teeth sit a bit higher and aren’t flush with the others next to it. I know there’s only so much you can grind/shave off an emax veener but i know the limits, i just don’t know what exact grinders, polishers and polish paste i need in order to achieve this at home. My process was done over seas so i can’t afford another trip just for that. Hopefully you can help me with the material names and where to get them, thank you..

    I am a fan of your KZread videos Dave. A question here for you please, when emax is placed in the furness, it comes out nice and shiny, so why would you polish it beforehand? Thanks for your contributions to the world of dentistry. Amir

    I normally don’t use any glaze. I prefer to polish before firing because it‘s faster to polish before firing.

    What is the first polishing disc called? Also is the second one called the robinson wheel? Thanks
