Polish people are badass ... Work hard, fight hard. They never give up nor complain. Respect to that from a french fellow soldier. Poland entire history has been a fight for survival; stuck between two "heavy league" warrior countries (Germany and Russia), they're still there ... Very few countries would have survived what Poland went bravely through

Napoléon 1er held the poles in very high esteem and for good reasons : they were his very best sldiers. Poniatowski even became "maréchal d'empire" - the only foreigner wearing this title + one of the main street in Paris in named after him + his name is carved in the "arc de triopme". His statue can also be found in Versailles). Generally speaking, french people have a lot of respect for the poles both as harcore workers and fighters. Before joining the army, I worked for austrian compagnies also employing polish people ... They earned (and deserved) everone's respect for their work an atitude.

There are actually 7 names of Poles carved in the arc de triopme, which are: Poniatowski Dąbrowski Zajączek Kniaziewicz Sułkowski Łazowski Chłopicki Out of Napoleon's 500 thousand Grand Army, circa 100 thousand were Polish (at the moment of the beginning of the invasion of Russia)

Poland (GROM) and USA (Seal Team 6) fought together in the beginning of the Iraq war. They took control of the Dams and oil stations before the war begun. Poland is underrated and their special forces are ranked in top 5 in the world, to me.
