@@DancingCoder I remember one of my Dutch work colleagues with whom we worked in Paris. There we met a very nice old Englishwoman who was married to an English duke. I just blissed out her pronunciation, and then Onno, my colleague, told me that they were taught British pronunciation at school like this: imagine that you have hot potatoes in your mouth. It seemed to me very realistic.))) Just boldly emphasize the second syllable in Gagarina, as you pronounce it in the word ..."beside" - the rest of the word you just exhale relaxed. That's it. Just relax.))

@@DancingCoder And one more thing concerning "shagai". "Shagai" in Russian is an imperative mood. In this context they say "walk", "pace forward" to the one who is guilty of something, when he leaves and then, in the hope of forgiveness, turns around, and he is told "come on, come on, pace forward"(davai-davai, shagai). It means "go ahead from here and do not stop." There are a lot of nuances in the Russian language. But in the context of this song, this is precisely the meaning. The same is often said to guilty children. Ha ha
