Police stop protest

This morning, Police in NCD put a stop to a protest conducted by residents of the Okapa block at Saraga, over the alleged beating and death of a young male relative by members attached to the Six-Mile police command.
Instead, late Aina Jerry’s relatives were asked to take their complaint to the Boroko Police Station on Monday.

Much has been said about GBV and people are marching and crying out loud everywhere. I guess police brutality is far more worse than any other violence that many fall victims to it hourly, daily, Weekley, monthly and yearly in PNG. Such a pressing issue that needs to be eradicated once and for all!

We as citizens of this country, must know our rights. Everyone deserve equal treatment, justice, and full participation in all good economic activities and public decision making. Justice must be served for this young man. Peace

@Mathew JR good question. Police would not belt you for nothing unless you did something wrong or you did not adhere to their instructions.

@@libertyhenry1521 that's true buy police they don't have the right to take someone's life. Animals are taken straight out from the jungles and being recruited that's why they're acting so wild and careless. Heartless human beings

@Liberty Henry yes in every situation or problem there is always two sides of the story to consider and comprehend. We don't know what the boy did, but still; brutally biting someone and taking their lives is a complete violation of the law.
