Yeah same, having the same natural occuring hostiles is cool, unlike the usual minecraft mobs they vary and every fight if different What I'm trying to say is this modpack feels like it's you against the infected world

The first episode of this made me go download it and it's literally one of the most fun modpacks I've played in my 12+ years of playing minecraft. Also, Captain: That giant skyscraper you saw and said you wanted to live in the penthouse of, on the ground floor lobby is a restraunt and a bunch of vending machines that have a TON of food. It's actually a massive apartment complex, and every floor has several apartments and each one has food in it. Gas Stations also have a ton of food in them as well. Recommend hitting up both. I actually ended up living in the penthouse of the skyscraper building you saw in the last episode and honestly it's an awesome place. It's really safe, there's so much loot that you pretty much don't ever have to worry about food or medical supplies again. I've found 6 guns so far in it, countless ammo, pretty much all the amenities you could ask for, etc. Honestly a super good place to make camp.

I’m in the same boat, I’ve watched a lot of modpacks but this is one of the few that I’m actually going to try out… I love structures so this is perfect

You got so unlucky with the police station. It’s usually super good, you can get guns and if your lucky the basement usually can be a vault where you can get a bunch of iron, gold, and emerald blocks.

Commenting early in the video so I'll see if this was necessary: Jordan, please learn the controls for Parcool. I highly recommend changing the keybind for "dodging". Both "fast run" and "dodge" are bound to Left Ctrl, so running ends up starting with a dodge, making some of the moves a little trickier to execute in certain conditions (not to mention, it makes movement feel slightly less predictable, which you seem to have experienced; it also uses more energy and hunger). You can't dodge and jump at the same time anyway, so just have one key for running and one key for dodging. If you understand how it works, it will drastically change the way you get around. It allows you to climb up to 3 blocks above you (6-7 if you do a sprinting start wall climb), and you can negate fall damage from a decent height by tapping the "roll" key as you touch the ground (requires a bit of practice). There's also a slide, wall run, and the wall jump ability can actually be really useful once you know how it works (you can climb up a decent height if you have two walls close to each other, or even just a corner). Also, I highly recommend reading through the quests in these modded playthroughs more often. Could've gotten a free leather helmet, and some other things.

stress levels are high as i continue to watch. the sounds are spooky too

Honestly i never watch more than an episode or two of these stream videos on this channel, but holy cow I'm excited for this series

I was watching his prominence series but I got bored a few episodes in because he kept ignoring most of the mod pack

This series is so freakin cool! The rag dolls are amazing and the models for the guns are very realistic and thorough.

i think its time to go back and watcha lot of old minecraft playthroughs like mianite 2 and others

I started playing this pack for myself with some friends, and man. The amount of times i've almost died due to the parcool mod is insane.

Nothing is stressing me out more than not shutting doors behind himself

so capitan jardon the hearth from the cold sweat mod if you put lava and water in it regulates a certain areas temperature like in crash landing the heating and cooling coil if it is too hot it auto uses water at a efficient rate to cool the area off if its too cold it uses lava to warm the area up also there is portable options of various levels of use water skins and both heated and chilled in respective blocks that are fueled by respective temp items that lose temp to help you maintain as long as in hotbar they dont work inventory or they didnt anyway also certain vanilla and special armors effect temperaturealso in world using water ice snow and lava fire magma blocks do as the standard temp suggest also i think soul torches and campfires cool unlike normal torches and campfire which heat i could be miss remembering biome have temp its cooler underground outside of lava ares season exist and day night temp changes the nether is very hot andi assume the end is cold but idr i also think the nether has a blue plant for a craft to make a longer term cooling item

Jordan's waste of food is as frustrating as possible. He finds roast chicken which gives 7 hunger and 11 saturation, and immediately eats one with only 2 hunger missing and doesn't need to heal.

the mod pack has a bug, saturation depletes trying to heal you despite healing being tweaked with the bandage mod. one of the stream viewers just made a custom mod to fix it, will be added for episode 6 (streams are a bit ahead oops)

Hes doing it for the perks not really for the health or saturation. The Spice of Life mod adds the nutrition chart, and the higher all of those are and the more food different types of food you have consumed gives me more hearts mainly, but I believe it can give you others. Its on the pack creators discretion for all that though.

Although having backpacks in your inventory is rough to do, if you make the inception upgrade you can store them in the equipped one

Item sets are super worth collecting, if you get a complete set most of them are OP

why didn't he grab all the barbed wire? It was already taking up an inventory slot why not Cary as much as you can?

Always check backpacks as they can have free loot or free upgrades

Sparklez you should take some of the sushi conveyer belts to make better barbed wire zombie traps

Their seems to be dungeons underground? (with an entrance above ground) I've only found one. I got a golden apple off the bat in a loot chest. My world was created in easy, not sure if that messes with the loot table?! I'm unsure if dungeon is really what it is, I haven't really looked in it.

Rewatched Back to the Future 1, 2 & 3 and now Joordoon uploads Deceased Craft :D Mmmm fine dining. and the obligatory "JORDAN DO THIS" : - Take the Sushi restaurant furniture from Farmer's Delight. That mod is SO overkill and good (and comfy in design)..... ---> One example: The Golden Apple Slices have the internal tag "golden_apple". you get like 4 slices for cutting a golden apple on a cutting board with a farmer's delight knife. IF the "Infected" status only checks for *the tag* then Farmer's Delight will *quadruple* the amount of vaccines you get from a golden apple. Of course, I havent played the Modpack yet *but* knowing how minecraft modding works, I can *imagine* it only checks the tag of *food* and *golden_apple* which is also on Enchanted Gapples. And as for "it checks for the effects given only by gapples"..... the slices do that too, usually, just for less duration
