I notice the college kids are rebellious period. At USC here in Los Angeles the campus has to hire crossing gaurds because the student wont obey the walk /don't walk sign.

I think this has been misunderstood by a lot of folks, the reason that universities are protesting is because college investments actually compose a pretty significant chunk of the budget for companies that are building the misses being used on civilian targets. I doubt that all of them are just there for clout, I get that it can be frustrating to see people so upset like this, but for what it's worth, it is REALLY bad (there are no hospitals left in gaza). This doesn't mean that students support Hamas, if our universities were funding their weapons, folks would be upset with that too. I think this purely anti-war take is actually a pretty standard thing for universities, there were similar incidents during other wars that were super unpopular, but looking back on it now days a lot of Americans think that the Vietnam war was a pretty poor choice as one example. Not tryna start beef out here, I know this is a super unpopular take so pls don't kill me in my sleep. Open to dialogue and of course I don't hate y'all, I'm just thinking out loud on some of the reasoning but not here to make personal attacks or disrespect anyone. Hope all you and your families are safe rn

You're a clueless troll if you think that the Israelis are TARGETING innocent civilians. In addition, the weapons they are buying are usually precision guided munitions, which tend to be smaller weapons as less explosive power is needed if you can hit your target accurately. The alternatives are bunker busters and carpet bombing, are you really stupid enough to believe those will result if fewer civilian casualties?

y'all realize when MLK was assassinated he was one of the most hated men in America. the civil rights movement was hated they blocked roads and broke laws as did almost every other social movement in us history. Disruption and inconvenience of the privileged is the point of protests and while I am sorry for that, it's still how this shit works and consulting history at some point down the line the students will be painted as revolutionary rather than terrorists but very interesting to see how many of y'all would have not supported civil rights...

I live around the corner from campus. They were still there 12 hours after this video footage occurred, so apparently they went back after being pushed off campus. I’m all for protesting whatever you believe in, just don’t block the roads please. By blocking the roads you’re creating negative emotions and feelings of anger/frustration in those you are trying to rally to your cause, and they inadvertently associate those negative feelings with your cause.
