0:16 something funky going on there with the tahoes light programming. a flash over cruise is definitely much more fitting for a park mode, not for a response mode.

I wonder if in DVI mode and the camera's not picking it up well. Not that DVI would make a lot of sense for responding, but that would make a little more sense than whatever the hell's going on there lol

@@t.j.seputis Let's hope it's user error, like the officer pressed the DVI button or doesn't have the slide switch all the way over lol Also notice the bad programming on the clip after that with the FPIU's crossbar lights

They should add the powercall siren to the units it would be a cool addition.
Living in an area with alot of crime I hear sirens all day & night..some people get annoyed by the sirens but I don't mind seeing them and hearing them time to time... Cool vids keep it up👍🏽❗

4:45 holy smokes. imaging being a police car trying to drive behind that squad car, following it to a call. That white to the rear is ridiculous.

it's not ridiculous it just enhances visibility of the squad car, the camera is likely exaggerating the brightness, better to be seen than not seen and end up in a crash.

@@uilliam6926 white light like that is dangerous. drunk people and those that are tired tend to focus on massive sources of light and drift towards it. white light like that makes it impossible to see the first responders working near the vehicle.

I got to evaluate deputies qualifying in the passenger seat. It’s a lot of fun. Never had to tell a cop to “Get on it!” before or since.

Caught a lot of great PD units in 2022 so far!
0:43 a police unit with an EQ2B siren? I’ve heard police units also with a powercall.

Some of these " light packages" are awesome, some not so much. I remember using old Federal revolving lights, they strained to operate at all in Alaska, now days LEDs are so much more efficient/ usable!!🇺🇲🇺🇲

Yes. He uses a scanner to find out where the calls are and where they respond.

Sadly not
We have alot of data about how much and what type of equipment along with the cost is found in patrol cars and emergency vehicles in general. The quantity of lighting on some of these vehicles is not a benefit to safety.
