I'm a law-abiding, middle-aged taxpayer who has never been in trouble with the police. Unfortunately I absolutely loathe the police and it's because of toxic constables like this. I have no trust in them, no respect for them and I wouldn't assist them. They are losing the support of the law-abiding majority and that is catastrophic for us and them. Their superiors need to realise very soon that this can't continue. This attitude is coming from their superiors but it needs to stop. The public are waking up to what's really going on.

ive had plenty of encounters with police in london and i actually have the opposite experience. each time they've been pretty fair and before anyone says this is not 'white privelage' as im a young man of mixed race. i still feel that the majority of police are good and fair but of course there are some toxic ones as you rightly said, but thats the case in every country really

Prior to joing the army, I worked as a milkman for 9 months to learn to wake up early and exercise early in the morning. My boss was a good guy, a bit sensitive at times, but a good mate. He decided that I should join the police and was badgering me many mornings to join the police. One early morning, I was delivering milk bottles, jumping hedges and delivering more milk bottles and then found a car number plate beside the road. I came back to the milk van and offloaded my empty bottles, with the number plate stuffed down my thermal jacket. I said to Bob, my Boss, "Here, I followed your advice and went to the local big police station to find out about joining up." He was very impressed. He asked me. "How did you get on?" I replied. "Well, they told me to got out and collect car number plates. So I did." He became very impressed and asked me. "How many did you get?" I replied. "Not very well. I only got one." He looked at me very concerned. "Only one?" I quickly took out the number plate from my jacket, and said. "Yeah. This one." He chased me as far as he could. 😁 He wouldn't speak to me for hours 😂

There were 2 or 3 actually. F-reg Merc, G-reg BMW both much newer than the registration alone would suggest.

I remember Koleeberks audited Horsham police station and was confronted by a PC who had just parked her personal vehicle in the car park. A viewer checked the reg and found out its MOT had expired three months prior! It’s funny the police say it’s not a service when a member of the public checks vehicles are compliant and apparently you should just focus on your own car, but when the police do it, it’s a different matter entirely. More hypocrisy from the police.

Why does the law state that vehicles must display their registration plates yet the police think that the public aren't allowed to look and take note of them ? crazy .

Wow, imagine how many times they have hemmed people up by making stuff up, let alone demanding information they are not entitled to. The female officer had a horrible attitude. They are both total bullies and an absolute disgrace and need to find different jobs where they are not going to abuse innocent people.

As a retired cop after 30yrs service ( retired 2012 ) it is extremely apparent that these two officers know very little about LAW. Their interaction is appalling. I’d have had a laugh after a minute and gone to DO MY DUTY !

My husband is a retired officer too (30 years ) 2011 .I was once proud of our police force and gave them the respect they deserved (it wasn't always perfect internally 😉)... but sadly not no more,.. is this really what they have become ..I want to throw my lap top ,I'm so angry right now! .... these 2 officers in particular ,like wise all the behavior witnessed in these channel videos...They seem to hate the general public and treat them with so much distain ..if you so much look out of place or don't react to their unlawful barking orders to obey you see the truth ....But! we only see the worst ones on here ...... But sadly they give the good ones a bad name.... these! whom are fighting the tide of a failing police force and upper management....just getting by keeping their heads down and counting down the days to retirement......Don't get me started on how much is over looked when illegal immigrant break the law and nothing done! . How is this member of the public accosted for just looking ,(in their words) suspicious on the pavement ....filling their day with petty stops like this ,that any good cop, like you say would have worked out sooner it was of a low priority and thank them for their time... But No... they just don't let up, have to have the last say by over interrogating. 3 of them for just one member of the public out side a police station of all places, full of officers as back up ,its a joke 😂 safety in numbers for someone whom hasn't even committed a crime.!.....training has failed all these officers or just the standard of recruits now, whom have to go out in pairs bless them.......they could not handle it being a single officer , out walking the beat of old just with a truncheons . It's amazing that UK police can find no end of things to be paranoid about. They're focused on the glass plate and completely ignore that his camera is recording the license plates they're so worried about. These are bright people!

These are the most clueless police I've seen in a while. Most seem to be catching on but these two are straight out of the early days of auditing. A bit of advice though Redgie, stay really calm during the engagement, it winds them up more if you're calm and collected.

what pisses me off about the police is when they continue to accuse you of doing something over and over and the thing they are claiming you did isn't even illegal anyway, so even if you said "yes officer i am writing down your registration numbers " there's absolutely nothing they can do about it anyway, also they dumped their car in the middle of a carriageway with blue lights for a none emergency because they felt like it, proof yet again that the police are above the law, the entire police force attitudes towards all members of the public in recent years is absolutely disgusting, imagine employees of any other service or business speaking to you like this and harassing you like this, THEY would find themselves in court, but when the police do it they are cleared of all wrong doing.

They walk into car parks, drive behind cars, and check number plates to verify a car has MOT and insurance. When someone else says the same, it's "weird." No, the only thing here is they HATE that their personal number plates are exposed.

My neighbour is disabled and he suffers badly with his mental health. He was getting bullied by the local crack heads who would come to his house with crow bars and threaten to hurt him if didn't give them money. One day, the crack heads teamed up and was trying to intimidate him by knocking on his door and telling him they would hurt him. I got fed up and I called the police. Their exact words to me were has the person actually broken in. I said no. The officer told me to call back when they had/ when they hurt him only then could they intervene. When I see these wet wipes approach you for absolutely nothing, it sickens me to the core. This is why we need auditors.

I remember as a kid at school the teacher getting all of us to copy down number plates, colours and makes of cars. Then we would work out average and make graphs 📈 never did I realize it was my first step towards a life of crime.
