i ever been in times square and i dont like the people with costumed characters that which most of it force tourist to photo with them even when dont ask for it and the most hard part is when they request certain amount after that.they truly have to be license to be there so tourist and they can be there in harmony.

If you need help there is always a superhero around! As for that idiot who said they should have to have a license,may be never have to stand in a costume to make enough money to eat,pay rent,ect! All they deserve is anywhere from $2-$10. Nothing more. Remember when taking pictures with people in costume was only in department stores. William Avellan no they survive on tips (not allowed to ask, only accept). If they wanted to charge a fee they would need a license from the city. But then the vagrants started capitalizing on this and harassing the tourists and extorting money from them, while dressing up in cheap costumes.
