Excellent review, as ever. Thank you. I'll be buying one and plan to put a sideways baby raptor motor in it. I've picked up some good tips here so thanks again.

The motor to pod screws are a brilliant idea, they massively cut down the twisting of the motor within the pod which contributes to premature wear and even breakage of the rear axle mounts which results in miss alignment of the crown and pinion gears causing transmission of power from motor to wheels to be compromised. I have many cars which didn't come out with the screws as standard and have since stripped them down and drilled the appropriate holes and re mounted the motors with the appropriate screws and been rewarded with mostly sensational results in regard to much smoother transmission of power to track. This is particularly noticable in cars with separate engine pods when upgrading to higher rpm motors and appropriately matched gearing upgrades.

i have this car im looking for the tape on the sides of the car for the Ferrari logo did they remove the logo all together?

Not to my knowledge? Tape is hard to see but both mine had it?

I’m curious, is there space on that back axle to replace the rear wheels with aluminium and keep the wheels in the arches because of the size of the boss?

Not really. With some tuning as I mentioned, you will have a competition level model (working pod, etc).
