Ordered my P4 in snow yesterday. After getting to tour it in Miami my wife and I were sold.

Please report back on ownership experience with just the back camera and how that fares in rain and/or snow (or just dirt for that matter). Its location really concerns me for how often it will need wiping down.

Will do. I went with a configuration which has an estimated delivery of November-December so I should have one of the first deliveries. Absolutely stunning design on this car. Setting up a test drive this summer to get a feel for the digital mirror.

Ordered the p4 to replace a P2. LRDM w/ Pilot + Plus, Magnesium / Mist interior. Delivery Jan-Feb ‘25. Will test drive to see how the back no-window digital camera works before final decision.

Polestar 3 is late but is available before Polestar 4. P3 will start deliveries in early July. P4 won't be available till end of 2024 to early 2025.

In Canada - Vancouver, they are estimating test drives for P4 in November 2024. Which means, deliveries a few months after

I drive a giant commercial vehicle with no back windows or cameras. It's not a big deal if you actually pay attention while you're driving and adjust your side mirrors correctly.

True, and this one has a 4K rear view video camera mounted on top of rear roof and displayed in the rear view mirror.

Originally Polestar was a division of Volvo that built race tuned-high performance versions of Volvos - seems that post the Geely takeover they became separate brands within the group

I really like it, it will be on our possibility list when our Polestar 2 lease is up in late 25

Love the Polestar 4, maybe I can afford it one day? But I'll definitely going with the rear motor rather than AWD, I probably don't need the range. But I want it, and the lower price helps a lot. What are the thoughts about the gold, too ostentatious? I wish this still had the Jupiter body color available like 2 and 3.

This is the sister car to the Zeekr 001. The Zeekr is less attractive but I think a better car with features missing on the Polestar 4. Much faster charging as well. Bring the Zeekr 001 to the US!

The main two reasons I wanted longer range was because my region has crappy charging infrastructure and my Bolt EV has slow charging speed. I'm happy with 259 EPA range, but I'd be willing to go lower with decent charging speed and more charging options here.

I love so much about this car, but Polestar still needs to rationalize pricing. This car seems more like a Model 3 competitor (despite the nice interior) because of its size. Not a Model S/Lucid Air competitor, but it is priced like those larger cars. Make that $75k configuration $55k and we're talking. At $75k, it is a hard sell.

It’s a lot larger and more luxurious than a Model 3. Much more comparable to an S but just slower.

This car is very cool! Too bad it's so expensive in Canada with AWD and the Plus pack. I priced one out with a couple extra add ons, and it came out to $109K CAD. Yikes! Waaaay too much money for essentially a Volvo S60 Cross Country.

This is a Macan, Model Y, Kia EV6, BMW iX3 competitor. Porsche is definitely the most potent, and the most expensive with the Model Y being the cheapest.

Police will hate the lack of a rear window. They like to see what people in the car are doing when they've pulled them over.

The price and capacity of the towing package. LOL.

That SUV ? polestar 4 looks like a Mach e if you squint. Dirt collecting on the back camera, or does it clean itself?

These will depreciate at an even bigger rate than the polestar 2. 😮 I will buy a off lease in 2028 for $25k 😂

The Model 3 has horrible visibility out the back window. A car can be right on your bumper, and you won't be able to see it. A digital mirror would be great.

I disagree with that assessment Jordan I have a ICE Hyundai Venue and it goes around 350 on one tank, why would I spend around 50k+ for something that can't go at least that. I drive for work so I would want something that goes 300+ miles for the cheapest I could get for an EV. I do think the 150 for the fiat pop 500e is more than enough outside of my job.

Just like the Volvo, Swedish company owned by a Chinese mother ship. Design and engineering in Sweden and built in the US for NA market.

Max. What is your problem with Polestar? You're like an Apple or Tesla fan boy. Stop it. Jordan, thanks for being honest. I own a P2 and definitely ordering this one. Max, please go and do some reviews on the stupid Teslas

I drive and own a P2 and like it a lot. I also try to be honest about the brand’s faults. I would never buy a Tesla lol

$80K when a Model S is in the 70s with FSD capability? Yeah I dont think so, sorry Polestar. $50K price point is more like it.
