Way better than PI Pulla systems as there are NO moving parts to get crapped up or fail. The simplest systems are always the most reliable. Good clear instructional video Rikki.

i watched this vid last month,ordered one from vespe and fitted it , doing just as you did it turned out perfect,have ordered another 3 to finish the rest of my top kits,so much neater than a cut piece of old pole.that my other two tops had, many thanks Rikki, great demo

For the old type side pulls kits I just used to slide a bit of old pole (Cut about 50mm long) Glue in place then put in the side pull. This seems to copy that idea but at an angle so seems brilliant.

Hi Rikki they seem a great effective idea, it says the 6mm kit fits 15>18mm top kits, what diameter are your kits roughly where the plastic tube stops, mine are only 16mm at very base.

im not sure mate but i have a daiwa pole and they are one of the slimmest top kits on the market i believe

Are these genuinely any good ? as the pole I have won't even allow me to fit a puller bung as the next section of pole goes too far up the top kit so these would be a good alternative if there worth it ?

just had a brake on these . gone have to fix with wrap and glue

You've not pulled it down far enough as i said in the video mate. Ive been using these over 1 year now and not had a single issue.

I run carp elastic through them aswell mate but i dont go above a 13 hollow as these are match kits and i wouldn't be using them for anything bigger than that even without the pulla kit fitted.

Great invention but would it be better glued in position to create a perfect and permanent bond.

Following on from the question by Adam - what is the internal diameter of the tube? Or what is the pole diameter of the pole at the position that the tube locks?

What is the inside measurement of the sleeve please

Great video. How have you been getting on after a year? Looking at the 'tube' part only, how long is it and how does it differ from the tough black plastic conduit tube (20mm OD, 18mm ID) that you can get from wickes for £1.30 for a 2m length?

I use these strippers but wouldn't without a carbon wrap. The plastic sleeve isn't bonded to the carbon so offers little structural strength. For the sake of £10 I get all my kits wrapped.

you use a pole that dont have side pulla kits, dude you full of shit go back check your video's showing your match fishing video's your pole has side pulla kits not one shows you using a pulla bung. still this is a good product for those that dont have side pulla's already fitted although id be worried about the angle of the ptfe bush damaging the elastic if it had a slight curve in it to centre the elastic down the middle of the pole this would be an improvement. me im buying the carbon strengthening kit and fitting roller pulla bungs by preston to all my kits. you pay for a cheap quick fast fix, it will cost you more in the long run
