Uyghur entertainer Polat Aqniyaz is a'rockin with his insane triple whammy instrument, the mungtar. That's a bass-ravap (bass version of the standard Kashgar ravap) on top, a ghejek (bowed fiddle) in the middle and a rock-n-roll guitar down low.

ah - fixed and fixed. i don't speak Uyghur, but should have known with 'tar' in the name that it was the instrument. there's also a one of a kind 'diltar' hiding in the compound where i live here in urumqi - a monstrous double necked satar. thanks for the clarification - appreciated!
