In this Trail Tech segment, AJ pulls out one of our DirtTrax rigs and winterizes a Polaris Sportsman 1000 XP for the final weeks of cold and snow.
Included in the installation is some gear from KIMPEX including a GEN 2 Windshield, Oxford Heated Hand Grips, KIMPEX Handlebar Hand Muffs and KIMPEX Trail Trooper Tires.

Kimpex Trail Trooper, also known as SunF A033, Wanda P350, or GBC Dirt Tamer. They are 6 ply rated but I next to Sedona Rip Saw 6ply there is no comparison they are very thin walled tires. The sidewalls are all the same with slight variation on the lugs, probably all from the same factory.

I bought the same quad 3 months ago, i love it!! I really like the Maxxis Vipr tires it comes with, i don't know why you guys would change them, they work real good in the snow here, in Michigan!?

CW Hobbies I concur because I watch CW videos and I've asked him what tires he was using and they are stock on the 1000's. I wish the 850's had those instead of the CST tires. They aren't bad but the traction is pretty poor on snow but also makes it fun to slide around in awd

Hey not sure if you know but if you use compressed air in the hole on the end of the grip while plugging the hole on the other grip, it pops right off. Your brand new grips would still be usable.

mcgrath eh I'm sure they know but if you aren't going to reuse them it's still quicker to cut them off.

I have polaris hand warmers. I notice they go off a lot and don’t stay on steady. How are the ones shown here. do they stay on constant if switched on?
