Just crazy how much relentless energy this band can bring, and how catchy their screamed choruses can be. Nothing technically unheard of but they execute it so damn well with their own details

Polaris have been one of my favourite bands over the last 2 years. I saw them at the roundhouse and Good things last year, and honestly, it changed my entire perception of them. Before hand I liked them, and really enjoyed them, but after those live shows they skyrocketted and became my most listened artists. This song is great can’t wait for the album

@@warcondition4496 you guys should check out 'void of vision' if you haven't already. Saw them both at metro theatre, thought I'd prefer polaris but vov stole the show for me - singer (jack bergin) has amazing energy/ stage presence. They're playing at factory theatre in a few months 😊

@@stephstephsteph Yeah saw them open for Polaris a few months ago and they were sick! I like a few of their songs but need to dive deeper into their stuff

You boys were absolute prefect, they ended the shows for the 10 year anniversary tour with this song, I’m glad it translates so well from a live song to the final production, because as I’m sure everyone whose seen the guys can agree, they blow the roof off every venue they play

I haven’t even listened yet but I’m SO EXCITED for new Polaris. They’ve been one of my favorites since I found them. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I got to see these guys when they came to the US to tour with Wage War. Got to see them in a 100 person venue, and got to hang out with the band in between sets. I’ve never seen someone whose vocal frys are SO effortless. Jamie is LOUD and his energy (all of them tbh) is off the charts. It was by far the most energetic show I’d been a part of, and that was only 100 people from the States who hadn’t heard of Polaris. We ALL left absolutely floored by these boys.

Yeah it's totally the song from the 10yr anniversary tour. It's a bloody banger, Polaris are already so good I don't get how it can still get better? But like, keep it coming boys! It reminds me of alexisonfire a tad, I feel like particularly in early days they just always GREW and EVEOLVED the sound, but were still always very specifically them in terms of sound.

I'll see them in a month in Hamburg, Germany with Chelsea Grin and i'm so excited! I've seen them with Alpha Wolf last year and it was one of the best metalcore shows i've been to. BUT, I like their songs with catchy clean chroruses more. I like this a lot too, they just can't dissapoint

This wasn't exactly the direction I wanted them to take. This feels more like an Alpha Wolf track, who I love, but the appeal of Polaris for me has always been the riffs. I'm sure the album will contain a bit more outside that nu-metalcore spectrum though.

I don’t think the mix is off, I thinks that’s done intentionally. They wouldn’t release it if the mix was “off”. There are a ton of people that check these things before they release.

See new Currents and Invent Animate for vocals that are more 'in the mix'. It's becoming a bit more common and obviously intentional.
