Polar Talks 2017: Psychoacoustics, the power of sound and music to control our minds

Музыка

The use of sound and music in an applied sense, such in films or brand communications, has traditionally been steered by intuition, often relying on one persons auditory memory-bank to supply the triggers for creating the desired specific and universal emotions, associations, and perceptions.
The past years have witnessed an increased development of structured systems which have enabled a more efficient and effective application of sound and music. They are currently being used in areas such as Sound Branding, advertising, Receptive Sound Therapy in the healthcare sector, and others. Located at the cross-roads of science and art, this approach has removed a lot of the guesswork ad enabled the creation and validation of more effective and accurate perceptions.
This talk takes a look at sound and music from a hearing perspective and examine its effect on our emotions, our memory, and on our health. We will observe how sound - besides steering our emotions - can also exert psychological power over our thoughts and biochemistry, and have profound neurological effects on the nervous system. We will also observe how sonic impulses and vibrations can synchronize brainwaves for effectively relieving stress, promoting sleep and boosting concentration.
The discipline that observes the way sound is perceived and how it effects us is called Psychoacoustics. By better understanding the influence of sound and music on our minds, we will be able to apply it more effectively.

Physics Professor Manfred Euler: "Binaural hearing is the acoustic analog of the interferometer or double-slit experiments. The two ears can be regarded as an acoustic interferometer, which recovers the phase difference of signals between the two ears by binaural correlation….matter waves are locally in phase with the superluminal particle clocks (de Broglie’s Law of Phase Harmony). The clock runs forever so it’s self-sustaining (consciousness-energy). It resonates with the quantum vacuum....Yet an acoustical answer can be given! Play the above mentioned infinitely rising tune and listen to a parable of scientific progress: The progress goes on but the central epistemological questions remain invariant."

@16:05 - A good example of sound branding is how we associate the Instant Messenger tones with that messaging service (Like Facebook, or the AIM platform we used back when I was a kid).

brown sound is when ELF infrared clears out the colon, as Tesla did on Mark Twain! thanks Just stand with your knees bent until your legs start shaking 7 to 9 times per second - instant ELF waves that create Brown Sound! thanks

Binaural beats are not about what the man is saying. It's not about the two sounds "goin from one ear to another"

Sound is the only thing capable of breaking time and space like folding the universe in half to get to one side to the other faster. Black holes are defining in sound. Ears would bleed before seperation of biological chemicals down to atom and recorganized on the other side. Whether intact or not is tbd

check out Superluminal sound signals proven by Guenter Nimtz. It's due to noncommutativity in math that was covered up at the origin of Western science from Archtyas and Philolaus creating Alogon as irrational magnitude math from the wrong music theory. I have free research on this - books and articles. thanks

Agree with you. He clearly knows what he’s talking about but I’m about half way in now and he makes no effort to connect all the dots that he’s made about the power of sound and music and vibration and how it affects us in our daily lives. That’s why I came here and I was expecting to hear something about Binaural Beats and similar topics but he lost me early on and I’m afraid I just gave up.

@@thecuriouspalmist8252That’s because it’s singularities that they cannot show you cause you wouldn’t be able to observe their demonstrations. It’s all based on non verbal phenomena that only those who have gained insight or a language that can make it attainable. None of you have that ability because you’d have to knock off electrons and stabilize Muons which none of you can. Or even feel you can. So this conversation or this man speaking on this topic for this platform is asinine
