This is why it’s important to have a good armswing! The losing team would probably be close or win if the guy getting served could hit or at least force the blocker to not pull, but because he couldn’t, it shows how important it is to be able to hit on an open net. At the higher levels, you can’t just shoot your way to the top unless you have a swing that is just as fearful. He seemed skilled with his shots but that alone was the factor and made all the difference in this game.
