Danke für den 2.Teil. Ich war im Juni 1986 mit meiner Seminargruppe in Auschwitz & - Birkenau . Unsere Studiumabschlussfahrt ging für einige Tage nach Polen. Mittags gegen 12 Uhr wurde der Film über das KZ in deutscher Sprache gezeigt. (Nach einer gewissen Zeit jeweils in einer anderen Sprache). Dafür gab es einen Vorführraum. Wir haben anschließend alle geweint; nach diesen Stunden der Besichtigung wurde lange geschwiegen - so berührt hat mich nie wieder eine der Gedenkstätten des 2. Weltkrieges wie dieser Ort. Die Vitrinen mit den Koffern, Schuhen... waren damals wesentlich größer. Inzwischen gibt es Einiges nicht mehr zu besichtigen wie damals. Mein Großvater mütterlicherseits wurde vom Sonderkommando SS erschossen. Meine Eltern, geb. 1926 & 1929, haben ihr Leben lang unter den Folgen des Krieges, der Flucht... gelitten. Mein Vati wurde in Beuthen geboren & verlor fast seine alle Familienmitglieder, zahlreiche Verwandte durch den 2. Weltkrieg, meine Mutti konnte erst im Alter von über 70 Jahren über (alles?) Erlebte sprechen. Es kann nicht oft genug an die Gräueltaten in Auschwitz erinnert werden - stellvertretend für all die Millionen Menschen, die in Konzentrationslagern ermordet wurden. Bereits der 1.Teil ging mir sehr nahe. Nochmals Dankeschön für diesen & den 2. Teil von dir. 🌻🕊️

Hallo Martina😊, Vielen Dank das du deine Gedanken und Erlebnisse geteilt hast. Ich muss zugeben das es mir emotional nicht leicht gefallen ist diese beiden Videos zusammenzustellen. Da man beim bearbeiten sich die Videos unzählige male anschaut. Trotzdem habe ich mich dazu entschlossen es fertig zu stellen. Ich finde, und mir persönlich ging es so, dass die Besichtigung der Läger einen emotional sehr mitnimmt. Die Grausamkeiten vor Ort zu sehen und sich darein zu versetzten wie sich die Menschen gefühlt haben, gelebt haben, dass alles überhaupt überstehen konnten war nicht leicht. Es ist einfach wichtig zu zeigen was passiert ist, und somit auch zeigen was nie wieder passieren darf. Ich kann jedem empfehlen( wer sich emotional dafür fit fühlt) sich dieses Lager anzuschauen. Vielen lieben Dank für dein positives Feedback 😊 Christoph

I didn’t know I was Jewish until my mid-30’s. My grandma on her deathbed finally felt safe enough to tell my cousins that were watching her. My grandpa was a sergeant and he found out what was really going to happen. He bribed a fellow officer to look the other way so that my great great grandmother, my grandma, my aunts and twin uncles could escape and run quick. North I believe, and he said I will find you. He did, and without him, my mom and myself would not be here. My other ancestors unfortunately were murdered at Dachau. So knowing her story and for her to be that terrified to keep that she was a Jew kills me. Seeing the documentary of this death camp, hits home. Thank you for doing this. May their memory be a blessing.

My Polacy, zmuszeni przez historię, której karty zapisali hitlerowscy oprawcy, pamiętamy... nosząc w sercach ból po tysiącach ludzkich istnień. Nasi ojcowie, my, nasze dzieci... Czas, by i każde kolejne niemieckie pokolenie po 1945 roku, miało obowiązek naocznie zapoznać się z tą drastyczną historią. Niemieckie dzieci, w ramach corocznych wycieczek, kierunek Polska - tam gdzie ich dziad i pradziach wymordował setki niewinnych i bezbronnych (jak dziś one) dzieci i ich rodzin... Ze skruchą, zrozumieniem...

Polski Obóz Koncentracyjny - naród Polski ma to do tego że zawsze widzi belki i winę gdzieś wyżej i kultem otacza kłamstwo - ale przyczyną pewnie są pieniądze które by chcieli wydoić od Niemiec, zresztą widać to do dzisiaj do czego są zdolni ludzie w tym kraju . Ich rate jedem, die Vernehmungen zum Frankfurter Ausschwitz Prozess 64 anzuhören. Mit Hilfe dieser Mitschnitte könnte ich mir die Geschichte des Theresienstädter Familienlagers erschließen. Letztlich gelang es meiner Tochter und mir, nach langer Recherche dem Ausschwitz Museum einem Namen zu einer A- Nummer zu geben, die einem Mädchen gehörte, dass gleichaltrig mit meiner Tochter war und ihren Vornamen trug. Im Gedenken an Luisa, 17 Jahre.

Thank you for both of these videos,so well put together & the music is perfect,so heartbreaking to watch,I go to both of these places next week,& I will say a prayer for those poor souls,may they rest in peace 🙏 Why can't we learn from this ???

Wow❗️ Das waren zwei sehr beeindruckende Videos über Auschwitz und Birkenau. Mein Herz hat geweint, 💔 🥺 und es tut richtig weh daran zu denken, was den unzähligen Menschen dort geschah. Irgendwie kann man das dort Geschehene kaum glauben, aber es ist ja leider tatsächlich so gewesen. 😢 Ich werde nie verstehen, wozu Menschen in der Lage sind. 😔 Eine Träne 💧gegen das Vergessen. Dziękuję za materiał. Należy pamiętać że ofiary o pamięć wołają nie o pomstę. Pokolenie obecnie dorastające niestety niewiele interesuje się historią. Pamiętajmy że polityczne spory, różnicę kulturowe, różnice wynikające z zamożności czy wyznania wiary - nigdy więcej nie mogą być wykorzystywane i piętnowane-przez umysłowych impotentów - zwanymi politykami - Ci którzy piękne frazesy na ustach mają, rzekome szczytne idee którymi się kierują- nim nas ludzi częstokroć prostych, aczkolwiek przyjaciół drugiego człowieka w niedoli. Każdego polityka nakazującego do mordowania w imię jego próżności, choroby psychicznej czy zwykłej korupcji i chęci zapisania się na kartach historii - mówię z pełną stanowczością na sztafot - polityka do wora, wór z kamieniami do jeziora i fora ze dwora. Nie dajmy się podzielić,wzbudzać w sobie najniższe instynkty. Pozdrawiam dużo zdrowia. Oby przyszłym pokoleniom przyświecały ideały wolności i zamiłowania pokoju...

I couldn't finish this. The first part was so horrifying my mouth just stayed wide open......and this......I can't. I am from a german family but I am still proud of who I am. My great grandparents came to the US before this and I am sure once they really found out what was going on.......they were just as disgusted as I am.

My Grandpa was in Birkenau, his number was 81144. He was then transported to Mauthausen , and to Gusen .He survived , but was never the same 😢

According the records released by Russia, in 1991, we now now the total number who entered, less 1944 entries, and how many were transferred and passed.

Thank you for both videos. I saw more information than any other documentaries so far. I see the greenery around the buildings now and the original film footage show very baron grounds. The millions and millions of steps of people who were there to keep the ground bare. If I were to travel in Europe, I would go there to pay my respect. God bless them all.

Drugą część oglądało się gorzej. Gdyby cierpienie ważyło, musiałby powstać w tym miejscu ogromny lej aż do jądra Ziemi. Kładę na tych tablicach wirtualne kwiaty, szczególnie piękne a na tablicach z pismem hebrajskim - kamyki w kształcie serca. Ludzie są dziwacznym gatunkiem, nie przystającym do życia na błękitnej planecie. Tworzą i niszczą. Zadają wyrafinowane cierpienie, niespotykane wśród innych gatunków. Wymyślają religie, których zasad nie przestrzegają. To jest niepodobne do niczego, niezrozumiałe. To się nazywa cywilizacja? Dziękuję, nie potrzebuję. Wracam do nicości. 💔

Sehr bedrückend es geht unter die Haut

It nice and green and tidy now but at the time it would have had no green life around it. The smell would have been horrible. It would have dirt and mud and vermin. Obviously sacred ground now to the victims. Unbelievable people can be so brutal. It is a stain on humanity that will take thousands of years to remedy.

Man's inhumanity to his fellow man is written large here. As it must have been wherever there was one of these despicable places. I hope that all who suffered and died here, Rest in Peace.

MY NEIGHBOR VISITED THE POLISH DEATH CAMPS LAST YEAR AND SAID IT WAS A VERY EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT SHE AND HER CHILDREN WILL NEVER FORGET. HER CHILDREN WERE YOUNG BUT SHE FELT IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR THEM TO SEE AND NEVER FORGET.

German death camps, on Polish territory. It was the Germans who created them, the Germans who ran them, the Germans who killed them.Please do not distort history. THESE ARE GERMAN DEATH CAMPS. Today the Poles are showing the world what the Germans brought to the world during World War 2.

The concentration camp is almost similar to the concentration camp here in Atropatene, but a little more merciful. I hope everyone who supports this and wants to take part can experience the whole horror for themselves here in Mouseville an eternal Green Mile.

Przodkowie. Przeczytałam te komentarze, dla nich jest to straszne i niezrozumiałe. Przypominam, ze to nie oni nam zgotowali ten los. Maja prawo zobaczyć jak to wyglądało, a nawet i lepiej, ze zobaczą.

Koncentrations Poland Lagen. Od wołynia sie zaczeło i szło w tą stronę. Trzeba uwazac i rozglądać się dobrze. Dzis masz więcej kombinatów śmierci, szpitale psychiatryczne, wiezienia, markety, ulice itp

Die Deutschen haben Polen überfallen und angegriffen. Sehr viele Polen wurden ermordet. Die Konzentrations- und Vernichtungslager wurden von Deutschen betrieben . Es waren Deutsche und keine Polen. Was stimmt denn mit Ihnen nicht?

W życiu bym swojej babci nie namawiał na odświeżanie sobie takich ciężkich i dramatycznych wspomnień. No ale takie czasy. Dla oglądalności. Negatyw dla rodziny!!!

Warto nagrywać takie rzeczy, aby były pamiątką dla następnych pokoleń. Jeżeli masz jeszcze Babcię, która musiała przeżyć coś tak okrutnego, to masz naprawę ogromny skarb. Może warto by to wykorzystać i posłuchać jej opowieści? Niestety osób, które doświadczyły tego okrucieństwa, z roku na rok jest coraz mniej. Dlatego każde tego typu nagranie lub wywiad z byłym więźniem obozu jest moim zdaniem na wagę złota. Chyba, że takiej osobie ciężko jest wracać myślami do tego miejsca, wtedy jak najbardziej trzeba to uszanować.

@@klaudia.1998 Dla Ciebie jako słuchacza, owszem skarb. Super się słucha i ogląda. Dla opowiadającego trauma i mega przeżycie wewnętrzne. I nawet jeśli tego nie widać na zewnątrz to taka babcinka czy dziadek wykańcza się przez powrót do tych bolesnych chwil. Dużo nie mówić. Wyobraź sobie że przeszlas wypadek samochodowy. Twoja rodzina zabita na miejscu bo jakiś alkoholik zajechał wam drogę. Przeżyłaś tylko Ty. Chcesz kręcić wywiady,filmy dokumentalne i jeździć na miejsce tragedii???

@@airdawid493, nie chodzi mi, że skarb pod względem historycznym, ale w ogóle. Rozumiem, że to trauma, w ogóle nie wymaga to dyskusji. Ale może to też zależy od osoby. Dla kogoś może to być naprawdę ciężkie i nie zechce wracać myślami, do tego co musieli przejść, ale jednak mnóstwo osób odważyło się udzielić wywiadu i opowiedzieć o tym.

Brat mojego dziadka był w obozie Stutthof a następnie przewieziono go Dachau i tam rozstrzelano. Nie wszyscy niemcy w tamtych czasach byli źli. Moja babcia pracowała jako pomoc domowa u pewnej rodziny niemieckiej, dobrze ją traktowali a po wojnie przysyłali jej paczki z Niemiec.
