That entire band is outstanding the clarinet and trumpet really rounded out their sound.

Hoo Haw!! What a ride! 1920's jazz, bluegrass, blues and a whole lotta' FUN! Whooee Boy!

They are great. I saw them in Memphis. I fell in love with the clarinet player, which might be a bit scary as I am 77 years old. The made this old man happy. I even had my picture taken with Pokey.

That was just plain fun. There's a lot of talent up there. Very tight band.

Pokey and his band...Great music

Stumbling around youtube this am and found this and am thoroughly delighted that there still are pockets of younger folk reviving old classics and styles of music. Bravo. Well done. Exceptional.

Old time American root music, country, blues and jazz influenced sounds. Fan bloody tastic. And the band is so tight. When Pokey plays you know you will have fun.

Every morning, Pokey and friends get me up and going. This is what it's all about. This is the joy of music. Thank you.

Do you get a sense this band eats and breathes music 24/7? I sure do. They truly have a love for song.

This guy is awesome. Great band. Some of the best roots music today.

Everyone in this band is AWESOME!!! What a show!

@@Mr_Monkey_McNugget Sorry but I've been in a blues band playing harp for many years and I totally disagree with you. OK he's not flying up and down the instrument to show off his skills but he is playing exactly what the song requires and that's the key to real musicianship

@@SoulandSurvival I've been playing 24 years. Started playing professionally when I was 18. A player doesn't have to be Little Walter, or Howard Levy. But I dislike the low standards harmonica players are held to. If he had that proficiency as a bass player he wouldn't be in the band.

Chloe's clarinet work is phenomenal! Her and TJ were great additions to the act.

After you listen to it some times, like everyone here did for sure, you start to see how Pokey is directing all with eyes and calls.

Seriously, anybody who doesn't tap his feet or smile or want to kiss Chloe is long gone dead.

Man this band is TOGETHER. I think, in the business, they say they are TIGHT.

It is a pleasure to watch this musicians how they play together. And not only to see to listening as well. ;-) Very nice.

I am just totally absorbed into each and every performer's talents. I hope this band of talent stays together and plays together through-out my lifetime! Rock-On!

This is such a rare song to hear these days. I love it. Champion jack Dupree would be proud.

Song originally recorded by Milton Brown and the Brownies back in the 1930s. It's origin is lost in History. There are several other variant versions out there with different verses, some quite salacious. Pokey is a great interpreter and solid writer,in the traditional vein with updated themes. He's carrying on a great tradition, hipping those who will listen to the great variety of American music. This was a great to see and hear!

They take your breath away! Incredible musicianship. Great band ... great personality and great renditions! I'm Larry from Pocatello Idaho ...aka "Poky". Therefore I a great affinity for "Pokey LaFarge" for sure. They even have a great name! Maybe they ought to get out of the mid west and let us see "Pokey LaFarge in Poky" sometime soon!! Really!

Garbage Man.Heard this on a TV advert in the U.K last week. Finally tracked down the version I wanted and it's Pokey for me. What a toe tapper this is.
