@Patterrz here is a funny dub mistake from the anime. The original finnish dub from first season of pokemon translated bulbasaurs leech seed to siemensyöksy. So ash always told bulbasaur to use siemensyöksy. Well siemensyöksy means ejaculation in english. So ash always told bulba to nut on the enemy. Have fun with that image in your head

6:36 The guy says Archeops's number is 576, and also says it's stat total is 576, but makes the mistake in showing it is actually 567. He made another mistake, because Archeops's actual pokedex number is 567, not 576. So this fact is still correct, he just got the number wrong.

the event shiny thing definitely intrigued me. I've actually got a shiny meloetta from the 2012 event but I'm not how it even happened because every online source I look into says the event was shinylocked.

U collected it from the event and it was shiny or you acquired it from someone second hand? Bc if it's second hand then it's def not legit. I've got a bunch of shiny locked events like Marshadow and Keldeo, and while super cool they are definitely not legit

These facts are great! I knew a lot of these being a nerd lmao, but the Pokemon Ranch scenes were some of my favorite.things to do with the app. Great video

funny enough I HAD Pokemon Master Arena. I got it from a local dollar general along with a Spirit Stallion of the Cimeron game and Barbie Horse Advnetures (btw the barbie game was actually really fun) but yeah I had the pokemon CD rom game and I remember liking it but the game never had a case just a little white slip so I kept the game until around highschool (5 years ago) I also had the battle dome or rather one of the figures, and my friend had that pokeball toy with a Bulbasaur in it. (she once promised to give it to me for my birthday but then I didn't show up that day for daycare and the teacher [be in mind my daycare was a church] saw that it was pokemon and she got in trouble so she ended up not giving it to me because she was upset with me. Still funny memories now as an adult)

18:28 i had a toy tyrogue like the oine in the video when i was a kid, i dont recall if it was shiny or not but that picture did awaken that memory in my head so its definitely possible or likely that it was shiny

Btw ice being neutral to fire makes sense sure fire melts ice but what does that ice become? Water if a blizzard moves on you and it melts it would be a rainstorm coming onto charizard

You mentioned that gen 7 was the first games for a enemy trainer to have a shiny pokemon. Actually in fire red/ leaf green on the sevi island there is a enemy trainer in a place called the trainer tower with a shiny Espeon.

It was a typo, Archeops pokedex number is 567, making the fact true.

I actually have the shiny mega rayquaza plushy, and when I got it, I thought it was a boomerang.

I feel sorry for shiny ditto and zorua/zoroak cause they can't, typically, appear as the shiny variants of the pokemon they turn into, nor disguise tjemselves as respectively, and I feel like that is a bit of a let down since it'd be a neat little easter egg for this to be a legit mechanic for those mons. IMO anyway. Albeit that there are certainly shiny Pokémon that can be done WAY BETTER! Namely the random weird shades of green crew, oddities like Cosmog and Garchomp, etc. But for the most part shinies typically look cool. Oh, and the shiny hunter that showed up randomly in the Journeys episode where Goh caught the huge Golurk was sort of a doofus. They could've done his characterization way better. Also shiny Psyduck/Golduck? Meh.

So the kids sprite is because it's pulling data from the map let's just say his shirt is pulling data from color slot 1 (for example) to be green but in the house there is no green loaded and the devs forgot to put it into the map to use for his shirt or it's in there specifically for his shirt but loaded to the wrong slot and so the codes telling him his shirt color is in slot 1 still and the blue that's also accessed by the big blue wall behind him is located in slot one instead of the green

And the reason it's so weirdly coded that sprites don't have set colors is cause all gb color games had to function in original gameboys that would freak out reading the code for the color and bug out that's why it loads the data for the sprite sees the identity of it and loads the color from memory I could be completely wrong but I think alot of the early gb color games did similar crap till they figured out a way to identify it in the original gb so it would just skip the color code so they could have set colored sprites that could be transferred to shades of grey white and black in the older systems without it reading as something else and making a glitch hell worse than the original jp release red and green
