Lady Gaga, at her beginning, was singing jazz music (very well) before entering in pop music. This is why I'm absolutely sure she has already loved this cover. But I can't tell you exactly when she clicked the upper like button my friend ;)

But for those of us who have never even heard of most of the songs they do, it's not unreasonable to assume that they're new songs. Or even that we may indeed classify an eight year old song as "new" whether we've heard it before or not. So don't accuse people of acting stupid for trying to clarify the OP comment to those who didn't bother to actually read and understand all the words - because that's, well, acting stupid.

That first pre-chorus is my favorite part of the song! That deep and rich "oh, oh oh oh, oh, oh oh oh oh oh oh" with the accompaniment sounds super cool.

Just proof that everything sounds better when its jazz.

Everything This girl do is fantastic, even her 4 lines in pitch perfect saga! I also love her as a singer.

If you watch Gaga's old piano performances of this song, this is sort of how she plays it, a bit slower though. This is flawless!

You should cover "Mr Sandman" maybe with Haley singing it.

Martin - this song has a very brassy arrangement. She has done a lot of softer music in the quartet 7th Ave. She has also done a nice, soft duet of "I Took a Pill in Ibiza" with Chris Rupp.

Wow the timber and general fullness of her "oh"s are just great! I'm so happy! I'm an alto and I love that kind of thing. And if you don't have the volume on them, it makes a huge difference. I'm happy to see this cover being done with someone who had her lungs on when she recorded it! A lovely swanky version! The brass was really stellar as well. And of course Scott Bradlee as usual! In other news, I'd adore a cover of Seven Devils by Florence and the Machine. It's sort of atmospheric and I'd love to see what PMJ would do with it.
