I think it really speaks volumes that Jesse and James actually took them to the hospital. They may be bad guys, but not really evil. It makes them so much more likeable in my opinion. Any other grunt from Team Rocket would've just recaptured all the Pokemon since they would have a harder time escaping due to their injuries, and continued hauling them back to HQ, why would they care if the Pokemon they stole got hurt? But Jesse and James genuinely care for Pokemon, even in spite of their line of work. Villains with a heart are so endearing to me.

@@Going4Broke2528 If you listen to their entry shpeel, they're actually trying to be good guys and don't think of themselves as evil at all. They've also stepped in to help Satoshi on several occasions even though they could have used the chance to just nab Pikachu and run. Musashi and Kojiro are just good guys that ended up in with the wrong people. If I remember correctly, they don't even agree with Sakaki's ways and only follow him out of fear.

dont worry bro, i am old enough to remember this episode, i was looking if anyone else. worst part is the doctor got knocked out and the team had to treat the pkmns , and the unforgettable chansey taking what meowth says literally , funny that meowth wanted to call police on his stolen gem , when himself is a wanted criminal . on same note, mpst people forget the episode where there is a race between a taurus farm and a duduo farm, what we have farms for? that is where the meat comes from .

Well to be fair, in Red and Blue it was a 1% chance to be encountered in Viridian Forest, so by most standards it is in fact quite rare. In most games Pikachu and Pichu are usually 1% encounters in the places they're found, albeit with some exceptions, so you wouldn't exactly be wrong for thinking that.

Pikachu has also had balloons and Surf boards that it used for Fly and Surf in past games as well, namely the opening cutscene in Yellow and for HMs in Let's Go Pikachu, so it's most likely a reference to that.
