For everyone getting confused in the comments, this video is anime Pokemon sizes. A lot of pokemon in the anime are shown at a different size (usually larger) than their in-game data.

Nowhere is that stated. Sizes are all over the place like they had AI generate nonsense. Waste of time.

I’m glad Blastoise is 6’6 now. Back in the day he was listed @ 5’3. I always felt that was to small.

My biggest complaint about the 3D Pokemon games used to be is that they don’t even attempt to make the huge mon even close to their true size. The most recent games S/V have started to change that dynamic though. However, I feel that Nintendo needs to again make a pure console with no portability functions with what ever bigger specs they need to properly put in and render humongous mon such as the legendaries and Psuedo legendaries

@@Fu9280 I’d love to see Eternatus in its real size, but the game already struggles (and honestly we can’t blame them, some spaces are too small) displaying some mons. Gouging Fire just won’t do anything if it’s not a wide open field for example.

SV battles are awesome because they do the size justice. If you’re fighting a Groudon with a Garchomp your Garchomp is looking up and the camera’s perspective makes Groudon seem huge. Switch that Garchomp out for a Palkia and you immediately see how much larger Palkia is compared to Groudon, but without making Groudon look smaller. They did that right.

Great video but moving left to right would be a better convention

The fact the Wailord has been dethroned makes me feel old.

The fact I didn't know who wailord was until this video made me feel old. Hadn't been into pokemon since I got silver +20 years ago.

I'm so happy seeing this because it's exactly how I imagine their sizes would be and it's accurate. Wish that the games also applied this lore accurate sizes to all pokemon.

The fact that Onix can be demolished by a drop of water and be bigger that 99% of pokemon says something lol

Charizard being in the 7 ft. range surprised me, but after seeing it was closer to the anime than the Pokedex data, I couldn't help but agree.

A good chunk of this information is incorrect, a lot of these pokemon are smaller than what’s displayed

there is no way Munchlax is as big as Lucario or Infernape...

Honestly; the sizes need a permanent re-canon. Because Graveler being slightly larger than a house cat makes zero sense to me. And growlithe should be about the size of a baby or teen tiger at least since he grows to be over 6 feet. The average tiger is about 4 feet at the shoulders. Arcanine is huge. Dragonite always made sense to me though. Proper sized good boy.

Why not pokedex? Oh well looking forward to diving into this video.

Why on earth would you decide to use inaccurate and inconsistent data from the anime instead of the data provided in game? Other than to deliberately misrepresented the pokemon as being bigger and more epic than they actually are. Everybody knows Charizard is small, it is what it is. How do you make a video like this and not once look at a Pokedex? Ps. The video looks fine, but you can not claim to be a data driven channel and use bad data. I've only seen two vids, but car enthusiast's and Pokemon player's usually know their numbers pretty well.

Dude you have to dynamax wailord to make it literally pokedex accurate wailord. Plus alpha pokemon exist now so the pokedex doesn't even make sense. anime at least makes the size of mons like gyarados, mega steelix and most legendaries as big as they should be compared to the games

I wouldn't mind this video if there was one of their proper size and one of their artistic representations (Wich is what the shows are) or have them compared in the same video. I just don't think it's too much to ask for a channel trying to represent themselves as a data driven channel to use reliable and verifiable info while making those videos. The video looks nice, but I stand by what I said in my original comment.
