So I made a few minor mistakes in the voiceover, so this comment is to clear up these: 2:13 Pixilate boosts normal type moves by 1.2x, not 1.3x as the text says at 2:35 The Usage rates are made by me, and are of the beginning of November, so they may not be entirely accurate and the last one I know of right now is at 3:45, where I mistakenly say Enamerous, instead of Eternatus If you enjoyed then subscribe, and if there are any other mistakes I made then feel free to let me know, this video was a very long process to make but I'm overall happy with how it came out, thank you for watching, and I hope you enjoyed :)

it was 30% in Gen 6, then got nerfed to 20% in Gen 7

Honestly, making them usable by all Pokémon (with actually transforming being exclusive to the namesake and maybe a couple related Pokémon) is not a bad way to bring back Mega Stones, considering Game Freak's love of generation gimmicks that the whole PokéDex can use.

Oh. I was going to ask where my beedrillite is at, but it turns out it's banned 😔 (which is probably for the best, idk)

Thank you! and yes sorry if that wasn't clear by the video, you can have a full team of Megas if you'd like, or a pokemon with mostly Megas and one pokemon holding a utility item, it's all up to you :)

I really like this question, and yes it does, especially with all the mega stones that can change your normal type moves into different types, it can use unblockable rapid spins to boost it's speed, bulk up to make it deal even more damage and tank a hit even better. My favorite set is Pinsirite Great Tusk, making it a Ground Flying type, making it's rapid spins become flying type moves, and giving it a speed boost, Great tusk is pretty fun in the tier and a great spinner, hope I answered the question well, and thank you for watching :)

So, can I use all these megas or am I locked into choosing one?

You can use all these Megas, up to 6 Megas per team, or none if you want (not a good idea lol), sorry if that wasn't clear by the video.

I saw one of the battles in the background where the opponent used outrage against Mimikyu after confusion was removed (7:21)

regieleki was good in SV OU nowhere else it wasnt even OU in gen 8

Should Latiasite/Latiosite give Levitate though? They have that ability by default, so just like with unchanging types, they shouldn't grant any ability change either.

So to my knowledge, the way the Mega Evolution worked in ORAS is that they give the Pokemon the ability Levitate a second time, instead of keeping the original Levitate, this is testable by using ability swap on a Latias/Latios, and then Mega evolving which will then give it Levitate, so I believe that's why. TLDR: Mega evolving in ORAS gave Latias and Latios Levitate a second time, instead of keeping the original levitate, hopefully this helped :)

Ceruledge typically holds a latiasite/latiosite or a Lucarionite :)

I didn't know that Zamazenta's and Ogrepon's items also changed the holders form. Would this also apply to Giratina, Dialga and Palkia's items? And any other items I'm not thinking of at the moment?

It does also apply to the Creation Trio's items yeah, but those are rarely seen as they grant very low stat boosts, and the only really notable ability is Levitate from Giratinas Orb. It would be but is entirely outclassed by Latiasite and Latiosite, with Latias providing more defensive value and Levitate, and Latios providing better offensive support and Levitate

Yes! Jolteons access to Weather ball and Red orb made it a very fast pokemon with it's base 130 speed stat, and granted it +50 SpA giving a base 160 base SpA, Ontop of Weatherball becoming 100 BP with STAB bonus, it became a very fast very hard hitting sweeper that was very very difficult to take down. They do! Mega evolving with Aggronite causes your Pokemon to drop their secondary typing and become an Solo type mon, as well as the other buffs offered by Aggronite :)

I like how Kyogre is so banned it’s on both banned mons and banned from holding items. Groudon is just banned from holding a stone though, it’s ok :) Seriously though, Lucarionite and my boy Lucario would probably pop off decently in this meta (probably not, I just have extreme bias for my favorite boy)

0:38 So does this mean pokemon who don't change types remain the same for example if we have iron hands Beedrilnite instead of loponite it would just gain a 70 point speed increase and a 60 point attack the ability adaptability and all for the low costs of a special attack drop.

This would be possible yes! This, sadly, is also why Beedrilnite itself is banned, but if you'd like to give something Adaptability still theres Lucarionite, or you can use Metagrossite for +40 Speed and Tough Claws.

That's unlocked through a move that is enhanced through the Z stone, since no other Pokemon has that move, they can not use the necrozium Z to get the form change boost

In the description I linked the forum page, that has all the information for which Pokemon are banned from Mega evolving, and what stones are banned. Hopefully that helps :)

I don't really like Mix and Mega because there isn't any new mega stone. Also you can't use a lot of archetypes. No Slush Rush No Drizzle No Chlorophyll No Sand Rush No Terrains

Jolteons speed tier, access to weather ball, and red orbs +50 base SpA boost makes it incredibly fast, hard hitting, and gave it a base 100 power STAB move to go off it's now 160 base SpA, Dragonite has a lot of counters like Arcanine, occasional Regieleki and other Dragonites, whole Jolteon really didn't lol. For example, Jolteon was so good Eternatus was considered a worse choice for a red orb weather ball pokemon, despite it's good typing, bulk, speed and power. Jolteon was a menace lol, hope you enjoyed watching and hopefully my explanation helped clear that up lol
