She's not totally dense or oblivious after all even shes a battle obssesed, she has a heart and passion and I love her.

What i find very interesting is that Koraidon and Miraidon have been the most expressive legendaries we've ever had. Both of them reacting scared when their bully has given them ptsd earlier and they show fear when being roared at by them. And when facing it under the command of the player, it gains its confidence back and smiles at the trainer with determination. Pokemon games has come a long way

Physically unemotional pokemons were relatable to me but yeah now at least It shows them making efforts to make them emote to tell a story (Lack of physical elotions doesn't mean they feel nothing, It just either means they don't show It like humans or just don't have the intuition to react that way)

Honestly it was nice to have the box Legendary with you the whole time for once. They kinda did this with Gen 7 as well with Nebby, tho it was more attached to Lillie than the player

I love that the box legendary was with you since the start, slowly being nursed back to health, having time to bond with the player throughout, so that when the final battle commences and Koraidon/Miraidon are finally in battling shape again it feels so earned. There's a Hiccup and Toothless dynamic between the player and their legendary and it's adorable.

The Koraidon vs Koraidon battle is literally the same premise as the Toothless vs Alpha Bewilderbeast battle in Httyd 2. Powerful rare lizard boi challenges the Alpha of their species to protect the ones they love, while transforming into their most powerful combat forms, and end up winning due to the power of friendship.

I find it heartening that they found a way to integrate Penny's arc into the final plotline - Team Star was founded as a means to stand up to bullies, and the very last battle of the main story is your legendary standing up to its bully.

This what I like about these guys. Unlike most legendaries where they’re just ancient gods or powerful beasts, Koraidon and Miraidon are more like a good friend you bond with, so there’s a personal connection. These cutscenes show that they have character outside of box art Legendary.

Lugia and the baby Silver are also like them too, very sentimental. The Legendary Birds and 3 Beasts too, Ho-Oh aswell who only approaches to a pure heart person. Mewtwo is able to feel just like humans do too

This is unrelated to the video, but I wanted to say that the cutscene when they are getting on top of Koraidon/Miraidon is literally so wholesome. Everyone helping the Pokémon to face it’s fear of heights is super cute!

I freaking LOVE how Koraidon’s Battle form cry sounds like a gasoline engine while Miraidon’s sounds like an electric motor

Glad to know that I wasn't the only one who used a max potion as soon as koraidon got down to 1lp. I find it super funny that everyone has done that in all the clips I've seen so far 😂

I prefer miraidon but that’s biased because i’m more familiar with it (i have only played violet) but koraidon would be a cute pet.

The little smile of determination they give you right before going into their battle form is my all time favorite part, when that happened i screamed. It’s such a little detail but it makes them so expressive, same with the cowering when the bully is roaring. This game may be horrible with glitches and gameplay mess ups but it’s my favorite story and animation wise. I think it’s going to stay one of my favorite Pokémon stories for awhile.

I like how it reflects a real life bully because it seems to be controlled and harmed by parents who don’t listen to their child

Far beyond bullies. It’s explained that the cover Pokémon that the player has lost a territorial battle; the other one that the professor has would probably straight up kill yours given the chance with absolutely no hesitation if they weren’t the professor’s. They’re the social alpha until you finally take them down.

I just love how the taunt at the beginning of the battle is scripted. Such a nice detail~

I love the subtle difference in themes when the bully legendary appears.

As stated already that wouldn't work lore-wise, but in an alternate take that actually could work. Koraidon and Miraidon represent the past and future, so it would be kinda neat to see these two forces fight. Depending on what game you play, the past gets beat by futuristic tech, or the future gets beat by the savage past. Still keeping in line with the bully and bullied theme the game's got going on. An idea I had after beating the game was that if the games were somehow combined I could see Professor Turo taking future pokemon from . . . well, the future, which are basically sentient robots and using them as security to cow the past pokemon or just keep the wild pokemon of Area Zero in check. I feel like if Sada and Turo shared the same game, they would be at odds with each other. Sada would want the pokemon to be wild and unchecked, as nature intended, but Turo would want order and control, as humanity strives for.

@@tayloreggleton1424 future pokemon can only be in the present with a time machine, but you can make other reasons for an ancient pokemon appearing in modern day. There's already a method to do this in universe (fossils) and some pokemon may have survived or hidden away for years (groudon and the other super ancient legendaries)

Paradox pokemon in a nutshell: (for pokemon with both past and future forms) Past forms: Survival of the fittest Future forms: Mobility is key you can see that with Koraidon and Miraidon. Koraidon needs its limbs to move, and has an awesome battle stance while Miraidon is just a hoverbike.

Koraidons are physical attackers so when the bully as going to hit him well yeah and miraidons are special attackers so bully miraidon wasn't narcissistic but going to blast him out of existence

Honestly like scarlet in general more. Miraidon doesn’t have a bad design but i find its battle form a bit goofy due to the jets. Turo bringing pokemon from the future and them looking all like robots isn’t really creative design wise. It also makes sense to be bringing pokemon from the past since they are things you would never see again. It also makes more sense lore wise making violet almost seem like a fan made game version of scarlet. I also don’t really feel any emotion towards miraidon as i think of it as a mere robot. Koraidon design is also really creative same with the ancient pokemon.

As a violet player I would like to bring up that while the robot versions aren't that distinct from their modern counterparts in comparison to the prehistoric ones (with the exceptions of Miradon and Iron Vallient) I do think the plot is still valid. Turo is likely never going to live to see those future pokemon himself, and the same is likely for most humans in the pokemon world at this time. While the prehistoric pokemon were pokemon humanity would never see again, the future pokemon were pokemon that have (at the time) never been seen before by people (as they weren't made yet). And yeah, I don't blame you for seeing Miraidon as a mere robot but I do think they did a good job at showing it is still a pokemon (magical animal thingy). Though the future pokemon do make me nervous because if machines are still having territory disputes, or are able to kill people (as we have seen), what kind of future did humanity create? What happened to the laws of robotic?

The lore falls apart pretty quick when the professor is a robot even though the theme is past and it has elements of the future 😂, like violet was the base game and they built Scarlett from there on because they couldn't backtracked. Like some have said In the future pokemon are extinct that's why they all have a robot like designs due to evolution or merging with technology for survival like an extinction event but on the future, because they're not actual robots just organic mons that look like them. For miraidon he's not a robot or machine he's just a future cyclizar lol, he eats, feels pain, fear, emotion's etc. Unlike real machines or robots. Mind you I'm seeing this from a robotics engineering perspective. 😂

Magearna is literally an old man made robot and pokemon can’t merge with technology themselves and “evolve” in that way because it has to be manmade so that wouldn’t really count as evolution. If Lusamine can make devices to open up wormholes then Sada can make a time machine. Oh yeah genesect is another example where the pokemon taken from the “future” already seem like present pokemon since genesect it a literal robot version of a fossil.

I was going for a Transformers theme with my Paradox Pokémon. So I named my Koraidon "Cliffjumper" and when I traded my bully Koraidon for a Miraidon of my own, I named it "Sideswipe".

I like to think that Scarlet and Violet take place in the exact same universe,and that the schools have a time thing that makes it so that they are in the same place,and the same thing for the crater. I thing that the time thing also messes with their memories,allowing the players friends to go to both schools with no recollection of the other. Oh yeahand the time thing is caused by the time machine(s).

It has the same facial flexes as it's prehistoric counterpart. You probably just don't focus on it because it's appearance has you innately go _"just a robot, no emotions."_ It isn't just a robot- robots do not have genes. The Future Pokemon are biomechanical. They are living creatures, they've just adapted to be more cyborg-ey. Edit: sorry about going off on you, I just really don't like people denying the Pokémon-hood of my new faves purely due to their mechanical nature. I may be a Scarlet Player, but I'm also a lifelong fan of Beast Wars and BIONICLE, so I have a bit of an affinity for biomechanical lifeforms.

Does anyone else find it odd that everyone else, including the guy who “couldn’t deal with Koraidon/Miraidon” when you first met him all dogpiled on your Pokémon and were just gonna fly off without you? Thanks a lot Nemona 😒😒😒

You may or may not know but the battle with the bully is actually scripted so it's impossible to lose. And if you stall out too long, the game automatically makes you terrastallise and use tera blast to defeat the bully.

I'm actually impressed now. I don't own either game (So it's kind of ridiculous that I am here, I know that) so I was kind of expecting both versions to be the exact same (well aside from the legendaries and the profs) and I am impressed by the tiny differences and the tiny details in general. Yes, the performance on the switch is HORRIBLE, but aside from that... NPC Koraidon is intimidating our Koraidon by looking at it "at eye level" while NPC Miraidon is looking at our Miraidon from above, even straightening up a bit and noticeably looking down on ours and tilting it's head a tiny bit. And then there's those tiny details of the profs tilting their heads machine-like with corresponding machine sounds, those tiny gestures Arven does at the end while being nudged, the slap on the player's back etc... I skipped Legends Arceus so Idk how much of this level of detail was already there in that game but all of that feels a lot different from Shield (or at least I forgot that it happened, which says a lot considering I picked these details up at first glance). I am still unsure whether to buy Scarlet (because I absolutely do NOT want to support the "farting out a half-finished game every year just because we can and the players will buy it anyways" mentality that Gamefreak HQ seems to have these days)... but this is actually tempting me a bit now...

imo the game isn't even broken for me. all i've gotten were a few slow scenes but basically no glitches/bugs at all either i'm lucky or unlucky for that fact

The worst bugs I've had with these games was Koraidon's model disappearing and a single crash. Outside of that and some lag, the game ran pretty well Im almost disappointed I didn't get a glitchy mess because some of them look downright hilarious

Also there’s a hidden detail with the AI sada/turo fight. When they start a battle, ai sada uses her right hand(our left), representing the past, while turo uses his left hand(our right), representing the future.

Koraidon / Miraidon Who have literally climbed the highest Peak in Paldea . Scared of Heights . 😂

There both perfect in my eyes ❤

Por 2x yo le saco un tipo hada(los dos tienen al tipo dragon asi que el hada les pega duro tanto a miraidon como koraidon)

These gen7 style box legendaries are a motorbike lizard and a robotic moby huge motorbike lizard and both are great pokemon

These two are so expressive, it’s so cute and I love it

Bully Koraidon looks like he's about to throw hands at the slightest inconvenience, and bully Miraidon has levels of smug assholery not even anime girls can replicate.

Wish the rest if the future paradox pokemon where as cool as miraidon

It's like a mirror counterpart, but they're bullies, one's good, the other's evil

The fighting part where koridon/miridon when they transform is sooooo cool even the cutsence

i dont know why, buy i like to see miraidon as a cat and koraidon like a doggo

I feel bad for the Pokémon when they just all pile on like that 😂 imagine it couldn’t fly

this reminds me of my dog being chill wnd a dog barking at her

Makes me really appreciate my miraidon and koraidon alot more now. Cuz I'm just now realizing how expressive they both are, scared, happy, hungry I can't believe I didn't notice that sooner. Really makes you bond with both of them like real friends. Pokémon and GameFreak gotta stop doing those qol touches that's not noticeable right away. And well if you did notice good for you I guess.

My game was glitching and kept skipping some of these scenes, but I at least got to see the climax of it all :( (Also, I didn't have cutscenes disabled, literally no idea why it was skipping...)

The bully should have been the opposite mascot of each game

Koraidon and miraidon are like cats, and i love it XD

I wish the bully Koraidon & Miraidon were the shiny colors just so they could be told apart from our mount maybe they might do that for the anime or something.

Spoilers** Those pokemon are murders the professor's deserved better. My adventure felt hollow after and my treasure was gone. I was so excited for them and the company advertised them so much just to pull a death.

Honestly koraidons battle form is literally just it standing up while Miraidon actually flys and more stuff changes

Koraidon was actually just a big puppy with wings in the game ngl it hurt my soul to see him getting bullied

Its such a shame you’re only gonna be able to transfer your bully legendary and not the one you keep in your party as your ride

How is Neomona the champion when she can't even tell how pokemon feel. Penny is like the real champion with her music and her knowledge. Also I'm glad I got Violet the fight seen with an AI makes more sense with future pokemon than past pokemon minus the territorial part makes more sense with koraidon

@Mimi Kyuki plus Arven and Penny had a real back story and went through some hardship especially Arven he lost his parent and almost his partner/dog/pokemon too.

The legendary pokemon is scared of height...

Koraidon is so cute, but I also like Miraidon! (I have Violet...)

I notice when it changes to the protector of paradise for a frame it says “there’s no use”

Here's to hoping we get a third game

Why do people call the alt legendary a bully the thing isn't a bully its territorial there's a while thing where sada/turo says our legendary lost a dispute which is why it fled area zero its not like these pokemon have a thing like "ha ha you look like a butt cheek" it's just defending its ground like any animal would
