Another factor might be the altars. Altars really help.

go to the move tutor in Island Two

this trick kinda works still

i did the egg thing and it said I need a pokemon that was at least lv 400 to hatch

Yeah Brody updated it recently where you can't open common eggs unless you're level 40 anymore which kinda sucks but it is what it is

u can get that type of golem with stealth rock in victory road (the cave). if you stuggle with it, try the moove tutor on island 2

Surf is special and waterfall is physically, gyrados is a physical pokemon thats why he uses waterfall

So if you can do this super fast you could in theory get a bunch of accounts with GM for free even if there not tradeable the mons you catch are
