I honestly haven't watched the anime in years, really since Diamond and Pearl, but I didn't realize how sad I'd be. I've watched so many of Ash and Pikachu's adventures, and now they're gone.

I am soo grateful to all my friends and fans for helping make this cover possible! godzilla719 the Japanese episodes are hard to find besides the banned episodes. I did manage to find some clips and full episodes and saved them in one of my playlists. Not just the original series but also Advance and DP series. Most of the episodes were uploaded by channels from different countries and the names were in their own language.

I listened to this song and its various versions when I walked my dog. I just had to put him down yesterday. Ever since he was a puppy, whenever I said “tackle attack” he would pounce on me. It’s hard not to cry while hearing it now. But I feel a wave of love along with the sadness when I hear this. He was my little Pokemon. Ever since I first heard this cover, it’s been one of my top 3 versions of the song, and the other two are official. Thank you for this cover, clearly it has a lot of love behind it. It made those walks even more special.

Omg, the fact you got Professor Oak's VA is probably my favorite thing. This cover just moved me. There is just nothing like the original theme songs

This is incredible... It took 20 years, but finally, we have an English version of this song! It brought a tear to my eye with all the nostalgia, but even without that, you sold it with all of the energy and vibrancy you put into all of it. I noticed this channel when you came back to KZread with the "Alola" Cover, and it's amazing to see how in just a few months, the singing has grown even more confident, and all of a sudden it feels like you're throwing everything into these videos. I want to say a genuine thank you for making this. It took me back to that point of Nostalgia and makes you feel like you're on top of the world, at the very start of the journey. This is very good! I keep on re watching the video because the song in English is more catchy and having oaks voice actor was a really nice touch. Good job!

Was on a Mezase kick after Satoshi won, and I don’t know how I missed this upload, I’ve been subbed for years. This cover is amazingly beautiful. And Oak’s original actor? I always loved his voice for the character in particular. This was an amazing gift. I haven’t been into Pokémon nearly as much as I used to be as a kid, but this cover reminded me just how much I’ll love the memories and friends I’ve gained because of it. Thanks for this, hope all’s well.

He gave it his all and become the very best like no one ever was at the beginning of his journey well he almost died an now 25 year's later his and Pikachu names are known across the world.

Not just that it combines both dub ( terms like catch and Palat Town+ inclusion of Prof Oak) and Japanese version elements staying faithfull to the original lyricaly but also doesn’t dissapoint dub fans

Pretty sure the English trailer used the OG English song, so they'll likely use that since worldwide fans know that one more.

This is amazing. Well done to all of you!

While this was one of the first Japanese Pokemon songs I heard (and one of my favorites), I have to say this English cover was really great. Especially how Stuart Zagnit, voice of Professor Oak, actually got to star in it. Also, this was uploaded on the 77th anniversary of the famous Warner Bros. character, Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes. This year, it will be his 80th anniversary.

Guess who just became the World Champion? 😄

Man, this is SOOOOO much more of a bop than the dub version‘s theme song. And even though I grew up with that one... this one makes me feel so much more nostalgic? It’s more peppy and optimistic and I think that’s a better reflection of who Satoshi/Ash is. You did a fantastic job with this translation of it!! I can’t stop listening to it (and wish I’d found it sooner)!
