It was neither. It was frost bite damage. He's lucky having trouble with his wrists was all the damage that set in from Lorelei's Ice Cuffs.

Donovan Larsen I don't recall him being frozen completely solid, though, admittedly, I found most of the Yellow Chapters a tad boring, cause I don't find Yellow all that interesting, and I might have missed something. As for the nerve damage thing, well, severe frost bite can cause nerve damage, but, I imagine if he had nerve damage, he wouldn't have been able to move his hands very well at all. Since he only had minor problems, I think it more likely he's experiencing long term numbness, which is another possible outcome of severe frost bite. That said, I suppose I could be wrong, and it could have been the nerve damage, and the manga was just playing up the way all manga do, and making severely debilitating real world injuries nothing but annoyances for their characters. I have the manga's scattered somewhere in my room, so I could always see if they say what kind of damage it was, but I'm pretty sure they glossed over the more in-depth details, and simply said he was still injured from the ice cuffs.

If this were a battle with the two Reds being their normal selves and one not being some sort of time traveling and space bending god, I feel like Manga Red would have won. But that's just my opinion. I love both versions of Red and it was cool watching this video. I can understand that this version of Red has travelled through a lot of time and space and has become far stronger than he used to be and that's why he won. Anyways, good work.

If Vee had used Psychic all the time I think that the Red of the manga would have won, even so both were even as it should be and that I liked how the whole battle except that detail of the spit because being fair if I had attacked in the first moment in the one that came out would have been more interesting to see how the red of the game managed, and Aero carrileando like an machine XD

Even funnier, though not really, since Adventures!Red got frostbite at one point and had to come to Mt. Silver for its hot springs.

Those “....” and stuff are his emotions. It’s how he communicates, by grunts and his facial expressions.

It's all but fact actually. Gyara is Level 84, Aero is Level 85, Snor is Level 89, and his three mains (Poliwrath, Venusaur, and Pikachu) are all but guaranteed to be stronger than even that. Poor Vee is probably weaker than Aero or Gyara though.

Manga red is definitely stronger. The enemies he fought were stronger and he even fought three elite four at the same time, which we can't even win with game logic.

As far as I know "Pokémon Master" is a concept from the anime, so, the only "Red" that could be a Pokémon Master is Satoshi/Ash. Red from games title is "Pokémon Trainer" and he`s a legendary trainer and a champion too, but not a "Master".
